I woke up at four the next morning. I think Steve's warning about not being late to training was still in my head.

Not sure what to expect, I skipped my shower thinking I'd just get sweaty and gross all over again. So I dressed in comfortable shorts and a t-shirt then went to find the training room. No one was there so I sat against a wall and reread my favorite book: The Great Gatsby.

I didn't even notice Clint walk in.

"Hey," he said, making me jump. "First rule, never be unaware of your surroundings no matter how safe you may or may not be."

"I'm sorry," I mumbled.

"It's fine, you're new. Just don't forget it."

"I'm sorry if I made you mad yesterday."

He surprised me by laughing. "Oh, no hard feelings Celestial. It was a game. And I'm fine. Wakanda technology works wonders."

He pulled the neck of his shirt down so I could see where the knife had punctured just below his collarbone. There wasn't even a scar.

"Now put the book down and let's start."

"Without everyone else?"

"They'll jump in when they get here. Besides, you probably would rather train one on one for a while. We do group battles which gets really intense and confusing sometimes. So maybe for this one you can sit it out and watch."

"Sounds like a plan. What do we start with first?"

"Weaponry."

I tried every weapon there was and some I didn't even know about. Clint taught me how to wield every weapon and effective strategies to kill. The rest of the Avengers eventually joined us, but they all went off and did their own thing. So Clint and I worked with weapons until the time came for them to start the group battle. Not going to lie, I was kind of excited.

While they began, I sat against a wall, far away from the action. I kind of liked just sitting it out because then I could get a feel for how everyone fought.

The battle was very intense. In the first five minutes, blood had already splattered the training room floor. Obviously they trusted Wakanda technology one hundred percent. Thor used lightning, Black Widow used knives that were almost as dangerous as Thor's lightning, and the Cap used his shield as a freaking boomerang. Then everything went downhill.

Gamora ran at Quill but was immediately intercepted by the raccoon looking thing. What was his name again? Racket? Sounds right considering he's the loudest Avenger here. He sliced at Gamora with his sword and she hit the ground hard. She screamed out in pain and Quill ran to her side. That was his mistake.

The rest of the Avengers came down on Quill and pinned him to the floor, holding him at bay with a sword to his throat.

"Stop," a voice rang out. Nick Fury appeared in the doorway. "Emotions on the battle field are not good. Besides anger. You channel your anger and hatred towards your enemy into your fighting. That is the only emotion you should have."

Quill looked up at Gamora. "I'm sorry."

The Avengers let him up and he helped Gamora walk to the infirmary. Clint came up to me, wiping sweat and blood off his face.

"What did you think?" He asked.

"Confusing," I stood from my spot on the floor.
