.:Kohana's P.O.V:.

I was currently in the helicopter, sitting next to the window, with Samuru-kun and waiting for our arrival in Crestland for our investigation on their B-Daman and the B-Daman Battle that's been going around, within the area. While waiting for the right time, I was gazing out of the window and looking at the ocean waters, remembering of what Mom told me before me and Samuru-kun left for Crestland.

~Flashback: At the WBMA

"Sweetie. I know that you're going to be staying over there in Crestland, but I just want to let you know that you're going to be staying with your Father, for the next 2 years." Mom says in a serious tone. I lightly gasp.

"Wait, what? I'm going to be staying with Dad?" I repeated what she said to me, in question. She nods, still left a bit stunned. "Listen, this was sudden to you, I know, but this is the only time that I'm going to be telling you this before you and Samuru head out to Crestland. My work has been piled up and need to go on business trips with Gennosuke and the other archaeologists with me to find some ancient ruins that I can use to decipher everything." She explains her reason and quickly embraces me in her arms.

"I don't like leaving you alone in the house, and that's why I want you to stay with your Father since he doesn't work that late as much as I do, after all. Besides," Mom pulled me away from her, with her hands on the sides of my shoulders. "You've got some catching up to do with your Father since he was only around for that month with us." She added, smiling at me.

I looked over to Samuru-kun, who was now approaching me and Mom. "What do you think, Samuru-kun?" I asked him in a curious tone.

"Whatever makes your Mom happy, then I'm okay with it. I am going with you, after all, so I'll be able to look after you, at times when Hachiro-san does come home late." He answers in reply. I smiled at him before looking back at my Mom, who was waiting for my answer.

"Sure, Mom. I'll be staying with Dad for the next five years." I replied and Mom lets out relieved sigh. "Thank you for your honest answer, Kohana. I'm sure you're going to be having a lot of time to catch up with your Father." She states and I nod, then we both embraced each other for the very last time.

~Flashback Ends: In the Helicopter

I slowly look away from gazing out of the window and leaned back against the seat, letting out a light breath. "Seems to me, you are very relaxed with this one, Kohana." I suddenly heard Aries, talking to me. I took him out of the pouch on my belt and held him up in front of me.

"Yeah, I am feeling relaxed, Aries." I replied. "Besides, I'm going with my Dad for the next five years and it's been too long since I last saw them again, but I know what happened to the other, though..." I added and let my head down from that last part I blurted out.

"Still worried for him?" Aries asks, curiously and concerned. "I still am, Aries, but we just have to keep a low profile around him." I said in reply.

"Who are you even talking about, Kohana?" Samuru-kun asks, out of the blue and joining in, on the conversation. "Oh! Sorry for leaving you like that, Samuru-kun..." I apologized to him, he just shrugged his shoulders.

"But I was talking about a childhood friend of mine that recently got into an accident when he was facing off a relative in a B-Daman Battle Competition. He didn't claim victory for the battle, making him and his B-Daman to lose their memories." I briefly summarized to Samuru-kun and slowly clenching my hand into a fist, but suddenly felt another hand on top of mine.

"Don't worry, Kohana." I glanced up at Samuru-kun. "I'm sure that he'll be able to regain his memories again and, no matter what happens, you'll be there to help him." He says, making me gasp lightly at what he said. Eventually, his cheeks turned a bright red and looked away from me, in an instant.
