Kohana: Hello there, fellow readers and welcome to The New B-Shot: Chapter Recap! As always, my name is Kohana Mai and my partner -- *shows Aries*
Aries: Ember Aries, here!
Kohana: And what do you say we should get started with this Chapter Recap, shall we? *puts down Aries*
Aries: Hmm... yes, we shall, Kohana!
Kohana: *laughs* What the heck was that accent? You sounded way too ridiculous...!
Aries: Hey, at least I tried!
Kohana: *chuckles* I mean, that was a good accent, all right. But anyways! Let's press forward with the Chapter Recap of Chapter 53: Crossfire Phoenix Grand Prix!
Kohana: Let's have you start it off, Aries!
Aries: All right then! So here's what happened: Blimps coming from the WBMA have been sending out flyers within the four areas of Crestland about the upcoming Crossfire Tournament on a man-made island that previously going to be a B-Crusher Facility from Genya Kokuji, Jenta's father and the man behind the mask as Agent Dark, working with Roma Day.
Aries: Bakuga's father has reclaimed his position as Chairman for the Shira Corporation and joining forces with the WBMA to hold a Crossfire Tournament within Crestland. Bakuga asked his father if they could turn the island into a B-Daman Facility and, immediately after taking in his request, construction started right away and finishing before the tournament comes around.
Kohana: Me and Shiro-chan approached them before we got ourselves ready for our debut performance during the opening ceremony of the tournament. They were wishing us good luck and that they would be cheering on for us, but I also had to brag a little bit about having Valerie Harlow-san, the no. 1 diva, singing with the two of us on our debut performance.
Aries: You were excited, Kohana. But Shiro was even more excited since she's a big fan of Valerie.
Kohana: I mean, I got to perform with her on stage during that concert she had back home, in West City. It was the experience of a lifetime, Aries!
Aries: Continuing on with the rest of what happened, we got a little moment with Roma and his B-Daman, Right Drake and Left Stallion, saying that they're being lured by the WBMA considering that the first place is the Legendary B-Daman, Spike Phoenix.
Kohana: And then, another moment within the Dark Crystal Caves is Lilith watching the images in the crystal ball, thinking about what Roma would be doing and such. But she knew that she had their own tricks up their sleeves, in order to attack me and Shiro-chan during the duration of the tournament.
Kohana: The people are now coming and arriving on the man-made island to watch or compete in the Crossfire Tournament, which means it was time for me, Shiro-chan, and Valerie-san to put our show on the road. After Takakura-san made a few reminders to the audience and players, B-Shot Ryu and Rory called us to the stage for our debut performance!
Kohana: Obviously, we sung the song "Phoenix" because it seems fitting with the tournament being called the Phoenix Grand Prix.
Aries: Way to make it more interesting!
Kohana: Yeah! But do you know what's more interesting and surprising at the same time? The appearance of Roma Day within the facility. Rory and Takakura-san showed the grand prize of the tournament: Spike Phoenix. And with it, Roma competes in the tournament and removed his mask, showing his true identity that he has kept hidden away.
Aries: And with that out of the way, the preliminary round of the tournament has just begun. With me and Kohana's advantage, we were able to gain a few points within the first few seconds after the time limit started up. The advantage also matched us with Shiro and Sting Gorgon since Shiro has her elemental powers as well.
