Secret of the Blue Forest (COMPLETED)

Part 12

At sometime before dawn, A servant woke up Lord Artis telling that he is needed in the throne room. When Lord Artis got there, he saw Lord Philip sitting beside throne, in front of him was standing Jonald along with his companions. Servants were giving them water. Lord Artis saw their rough condition and sat on the throne. Lord Philip said to him

"Ludik called me, I hope you do not mind"

"No problem"

Then lord Artis spoke to Jonald

"What happened? by looking at you I can tell that it is not a good news"

Jonald did a nod towards the servants and Lord Artis ordered the servants to go, After that Jonald told everything. After hearing Jonald Lord Philip said

Lord Philip: I would not believe if any other man told me all this.

Lord Artis: I still cannot believe it.

Rio: I saw the whole thing and I could not believe it while standing there.

Lord Philip: Now what to do?

Lord Artis: I will double the forces on mountain side.

Lord Philip: Can our men fight ogres? Or whatever those things are?

Lord Artis: We have to do something about it, we will see once they come down but right now no one goes up and all of you keep this to yourself.

Jonald: I have ordered these man already my lord but my lord what about the forest?

Lord Artis: Cannot say anything yet.

Ludik: What if they are in the forest too my lord? We must investigate.

Lord Artis: Remember what happened to your soldiers Ludik?

Lord Philip: People are saying my men are killed by Shadow death.

Lord Artis: You want to send more men in the Forest? I am not sending any more men there to go to waste. In that damn forest there are many things which can kill a man.

Everybody stood silent and then Lord Artis spoke

"Right now, you all can go home and take rest, at least now we know what are up against"

They all bowed and left the throne room then Lord Philip stood up and asked Lord Artis

"Now?"

"I need to see my commanders"

"I advise you to send a letter to your home too, I will do the same"

"you are right, my son always wanted to rule, I guess it is time to make him official acting Lord"

"I never met your son"

Lord Artis smiled at him and Lord Philip walked out.

In the forest, Elf woke up at dawn. She sat up in her bed and saw Red sitting with his armor on and sword lying in front of him. His eyes were looking at the rising sun and he was humming the same tune he was humming the first time she met him. He turned his head towards her and she noticed that he also just woke up. She climbed down the tree and went to stream. She washed her face and drank some water. She returned and saw Red holding her sword, he threw her sword at her and said

"Let's go"

She wore her sword and they both climbed down the tree. She walked with a little difficulty but she managed to keep walking. Red was walking very slowly because of her. They head towards toward the inner parts of the forest. They kept walking and saw some jackalopes and lemurs. They saw some gorillas and kept low until gorillas moved away. At near noon, they started to hear loud growls, with every step they were becoming louder and more frequent. Elf started to step more cautiously. At noon Elf stopped and looked at Red.
