Secret of the Blue Forest (COMPLETED)

Final Part 24

At the battle field, Theia was standing with lords. Lords were gathered up and their army was looking for the wounded. Enemy wounded were getting killed immediately. Friendlies were taken to the medics. Enemy forces ran away or were captured. Some were hiding and soldiers were finding them in the tents. Heads of the officers and Commanders were lying in front of the lords. Lord Artis kicked some heads around and saw Brett's head. He picked it up and said

"I raised you better than this Brett"

He dropped the head, He started crying. Lord Philip hugged him. Lord Artis said

"He was my son, my only son Philip"

He started crying like a kid. A soldier came and said

"There is no report from the grove my lord"

The word 'grove' got Theia's attention. Lord Clive said

"Send someone"

Everybody started walking. Theia asked Rio

"What about the grove?"

"Where you went to meet Red Theia"

"Who told you?"

"I followed you last night"

Theia was so worried that she did not took proper precautions.

"Which report is coming Rio?"

"We set a trap for Red there"

Theia stopped and grabbed Rio's arm.

"What do you mean?"

"Theia, he was our enemy. I heard you both talking at the grove and in the battle I told him that you are hurt and went to the grove. Brett's riders are behind you and Red left. After he left. Army was commander less and fell quick"

Theia understood the situation. She quickly looked for a horse but Rio grabbed her arm.

"Theia it is done, do not go"

"You betrayed your own brother Rio?" she yelled.

"He was an enemy"

Theia started crying. Lords were gone. Kerk and poif were standing with them.

A soldier came to Kerk, he said

"A horse is coming from the trap. Lord have requested you to join"

Theia quickly got up and ran towards the front where they started the battle. Kerk, poif and Rio ran too.

Lords were standing at the front and were waiting for the rider to come close. Horse came close and they saw Red falling from it. He was alone. He stood with the support of his shield. He had his sword in his hand. one arrow was in his thigh and one was in his abdomen on the left side. He had two big cuts on his body and seemed like he was bleeding too much. Lord Artis yelled

"He is alive, kill him"

Ludik was standing with him. He took out his sword and came forward. He yelled

"You wanted me Red, here I am"

Red paid him no attention. He was barely standing. His eyes were looking here and there. Up and down. He said slowly

"Where are you Theia?"

Ludik came close and yelled

"You wanted me huh?"

Ludik hit him, Red blocked it with his shield. Ludik swung and Red blocked it with his sword. He said again

"Where are you Theia?"

Ludik swung his sword from down to up. Red stepped to the side and struck Ludik with his shield. Ludik nose started to bleed. Red said

"Got you"

Ludik got angry and he did another attack but Red rotated his body in circle and from behind he stabbed Ludik in his back. Ludik fell down. Red fell down too. He lost too much blood. Wind howled. Everybody was silent. Red heard a faint voice

"Let me through"

It was Theia's voice. Red placed his hand on swords handle. With its support, he stood up. Red's eyes were still looking for her. One more arrow hit him in the chest. Red gasped.

"Where are you Theia?"

Sweat and blood was getting in his eyes. He quickly took support of his sword. Everything was becoming slow. He saw Lord Artis ordering archers. Archers released the arrows. They whistled through the air and flew towards Red. Red took his shield in front but could not do it in time. His left side got three arrows in it. His legs got hit with some arrows too. He stood up for a second. His hands were shaking.

"Where are you Theia?"

His hand could not hold his shield anymore. He dropped the shield. A soldier started running towards him. From behind him, he saw Theia came in front running. Red saw her face which had some dirt on it. Her blue eyes were full of tears. Her hair were pitch black. She started running towards him. Just one soldier in between. One last hurdle. As soon as soldier came close. Red collected his remaining strength and picked his sword up pointing at the soldier. Soldier was running and could not stop in time. Sword went in his chest. Red pushed the sword with all his strength and it came out the back. Red fell on his knees. Theia got closed to him and held him in her arms. She laid his head on her lap. She was crying. Red said

"I was looking....... all over for you my love"

"You found me Red, You found me"

Red lifted his hand slowly. He removed the dirt on her face.

"your face ...got....dirty"

Theia just kept on crying. Dirt from her face dropped in Red's eye. Theia quickly started rubbing his eyes to clear blood and dirt. Red's hand fell down. He smiled at Theia for the last time. Theia put her hand on his cheek and smiled back with tears. She kept on crying. Red was dead. Everybody was silent. They did not know what was happening except the Lords and Rio. Theia kept on crying.

Everybody was happy in the Land of Draound. Battle was over. Army was hunting any enemy soldiers who ran. Lords were throwing feasts and people were feeling alive. Fallen comrades were being remembered. Their lives were getting celebrated. Bryte was given the valley of Henry because of his last minute deal with Lord Artis. A spy saw him reacting after Brett's orders regarding his girl. He informed Lord Artis and this deal was made. Bryte was now a lord with his girl. He was happy in his new castle. Rio left with Lord Philip. Ludik was no more so he was the new Ludik for Lord Philip. Lord Artis returned to his valley and took back the charge.

Elves were walking in the Blue Forest. Blue forest was as beautiful as it always was. A passage door was opened in the forest and it was time for the elves to back. Theia was walking with poif. Behind her, two elves were holding a stretcher. It had Red's body on it. Theia asked lords to take Red's body. They had no objection. They came to the passage. Elves started walking in and disappearing in the dark. Before Theia could enter Poif grabbed her hand

"Are you sure Theia? you lived your whole life here"

"Yes Poif, I want to sleep forever with Red"

"Red cannot be his real name"

"No, I asked his brother and he told me his real name is....."

A loud growl echoed in the Forest. Theia and Poif both looked in that direction but could not see anything. She smiled at Poif and said

"I guess Red does not want you to know his real name"

Poif smiled back and walked in. Theia came to the stretcher and held Red's cold hand. She smiled at him.

Then they all walked in and passage door closed. Leaving the Blue Forest as it was. Calm beautiful and deadly.
