The Lesson I've Learned

In this place where we first met,
There's a lesson I won't forget.
It's not math, english, or any subject,
But it's the bond everyone won't object.

We started here simple as addition.
We were free to show our own actuation.
Even if there were differences in our actions,
We were still joined by a conjunction.

We grew in this place we can call home,
Realizing we were rhyming like poem.
Forgetting the antonyms on every act,
Proving unlike charges attract.

You may be serious and nerdy kind of person,
You still have friends who look like from prison.
This only shows that despite of the differences,
We can be one and stand with great closeness.
