Liana Fair

Two days. It has been two days since Euro left for a business trip on a 5-hour drive away place with his fellow professors, now I'm stuck with nanny Tesla and David and some unnamed woman hired by Euro watching my every damn move inside the campus.

Not that I mind not having him around, okay fine I mind having him around. I missed his presence ever since that day when we visited his relatives, him confessing about Ashley and me being drunk and waking up with him tightly embracing me.

"Liana did you hear me?" Addison disrupted my thoughts as she waved a hand in front of me.

"Sorry what was it you're saying again?" I asked and shake my head.

"This! This is what I'm talking about!" she said with so much glee in her voice.

I looked at the poster pasted on the announcement bulletin. It was a contest for amateur painters of the campus.

Addison, without a warning listed my name on the paper that was pinned beside the poster.

"Waiiittt!" I tried to stop her but it was futile, she already had written my name and part of me wanted to join the contest as well.

"Liana you should do this, why would the master of the universe give you a talent you won't showcase" She said matter of factly

"My pantings are not 'talent' in it's form, it was just a hobby" I told her

"Are you kidding me right now? I have seen two of your works when we were asked to paint for our humanities class remember? You got the highest grade by the way" She smirked

"Okay I remember that, you don't have to be so loud" I told her as I shush her overwhelming voice, this Addison that I dearly care about.

"Please" she asked me again

I battled with my mind for a while, but how can I win with Addison's wide puppy eyes pleading at me

"Oh sheep! fine I'll join"

"Yey!" she squeaked "Trust me, you'll do great" she added

soon students take notice of the poster too, as some listed their names I noticed there were previous names written above mine. Oh goodness there's many of them, this was a bad idea.

"Addi..." I tried to take back what I said but I can't disappoint her

"She's a real painter...I have to warn you guys" she bragged to the group of students piling in front of the bulletin

I smack my palm on my forehead, this went from bad to worst.

"Stop that Addi, let's go" I whispered at her as we both laugh at the way the other students look at me like I'm a threat to them.

The rest of the day went by and I can't  help my mind drifting to home, to Euro, to home, then to Euro's ex-lover, then Euro again.

As the last bell rang, I hurriedly gather my things and bid Addi goodbye. She still had that smirk plastered on her face as we passed by the bulletin board where my name was listed in Capital letters. Goodness.

"Can you be more proud of me? I haven't proven a thing yet" I remarked as we part ways

"I have so much faith in you, see you tomorrow" she said and waved me goodbye.

I can't help but smile at her. I know for sure what I'm going to paint now, she'll be my muse and I can't wait to see her reaction when its done.

Walking towards the garage where I know David will be waiting I bumped to someone

"Oh shoot" I muttered as I picked up my books scattered on the floor

"My bad" The person said and when I looked up I saw the familiar face that I can't remember where.

"Oh you're!" We said in unison but neither of us remember who is who.

Then we laughed.

"I remember you now, Liana right?" He finally said once were sober from the laugh

"And you're Fabio" I smiled back.

"So what brings you here?" I asked

His eyes glow and for a moment I let my mind acknowledge how handsome he is, if Euro could hear my thoughts right now he'd probably go mad.

"Well, I'm invited to judge a contest slated tomorrow." He answered

"What contest?...Oh my" I finally said, Oh no he's going to be one of the judges. Now I'm much more nervous.

"Let me guess by the way you look, you're on it too? Calm down I'm not much of a connoisseur. Just enjoy and let your muse flow tomorrow" He said.

"You're deep" I said and smiled.

Fabio blushed and I can't help but smile at him again.

"You didn't call me" He tried to divert the attention to me

"I must have lost your card...and I don't have a phone" I answered

"What? who lives their college life without a phone?" He tease with a smirk playing on his face

"Uhmm...I do?" I tried to laugh, oh Fabio if only you know why I can't have a phone.

"So have a nice day then, see you at the contest tomorrow" I waved at him

Fabio waved back as he fixed the falling locks of hair from his face, he looks so perfect and I am but a mole beside him.

"Take care" He said.

Once I reached the garage I scanned the whole area and that shiny luxury car with a darkly tainted window. Oh, there it is.

When I opened the door to the backseat I was ghastly taken aback...Euro was already sitting at the other end. His eyes focused on his phone.

"Hello" I tried to sound casual as possible. David looked back at me and smiled, if only Euro can acknowledge me the same.

As the car drove by I can't help the feeling of unease, why does Euro have to be this intimidating. Aside from he's a professor and a real asshole, he's being very bipolar.

I tried straightening my knee length dress and pretend busy scanning the road outside.

Then I felt a hand resting on my thigh.

It was Euro's of course, I stared at him and realized nothing can compare to how handsome he is in my eyes...suck these thoughts.

"How are you?" He said, I follow the way his lips move.

I was about to answer him but he added

"And you talked with that fucker again I see?"

I paled at his words.
