The Moirallegiance Cycle

Cycle- An interval of time during which a characteristic, often regularly repeated event or sequence of events occurs.

A cycle spinning round and round, always coming back to the beginning. Always rotating and shifting and changing in one singular pattern. The set patterns caught Kanaya's eye, drawing her to the cycles. Cycles were neat and orderly, clean cut and fine. Nothing like moiralligience. The differences seemed to stab her in the back. Kanaya hated how it could fluctuate at a certain velocity, how moirallegience could change so drastically and not come back down. Like a balloon floating higher and yet further into space.

Moirallegience with Karkat was nice, though. A sense of balance and serenity flowed through Kanaya when she thought about it. It wasn't one-sided, both parties supported each-other. It would never be a cycle and, yes, it would go from zero to sixty, but it was supportive. Their moiralligience was healthy. And Kanaya (platonically) loved Karkat for it.
