You awoke with a start.

Jimin's round face was mere inches from yours, peering down curiously at you with a devilish smirk on his handsome face.

Feeling uncomfortable, you inched the yellow blanket up to your chin and resisted the urge to tuck your face up under there as well.

"Uh, good morning?" you said, unable to keep the question out of your voice.

You blinked. Twice.

Still, he stared at you, his smirk stretching wider by the second at the sight of seeing you squirm. "Good morning."

And with that he took off, leaving you alone, dazed, confused and slightly turned on. You tossed the blanket up in the air and crunched up on the couch, letting the blanket fall over your whole body to hide your creeping blush. You could not be having thoughts like this.

Nope, not today, Satan.

After a few steadying breaths, when you could trust your quaking legs to carry you to the bathroom, you got up and prepared for your first official day on the job.

You blinked and somehow an hour had passed. Everyone was fed, watered and groomed like prize ponies and waiting for the big black company cars to come pick you all up and transport you to the lucrative Big Hit building.

You had received a text from Sejin bright and early that morning letting you know that you and Minji would be expected to tag along with the guys today as he wanted to speak with you and the other girl about some mysterious 'assignment.' You had no idea what he could possibly be talking about, especially before your first cup of coffee.

You sat on the arm of the sofa, cell phone in hand, as you waited. Jimin chose to sit right next to you, even though there was barely enough room for the two of you there. He didn't say anything, didn't even look at you. Just sat there silently smiling. You could see him from the corner of your eye and you thought he must have loved torturing you. Every few seconds you would nervously check your phone for the text saying that the cars had arrived.

The other members and Minji all huddled by the door, casually conversing in Korean.

Just as you thought you were about to explode from nervous tension, your phone lit up with a ding and you abruptly stood, almost knocking Jimin off the arm of the couch when you did.

"Let's go!" you said, the first to leave the apartment without looking back.

When you got to Big Hit headquarters, you all poured out of the three separate cars that it had taken to get you all there like the runny yolk oozing from an egg. On the ride over, you had been in the back seat, squeezed tight between Minji and Jimin. The two had chosen to hold a private conversation in Korean, their heads ducking forward to look past you to one another, while you sat there confusedly, feeling like a third wheel if ever there was one.

So once you were out of the car, you didn't even wait for anyone else on the sidewalk where they gathered. You just stormed off into the building, making a beeline towards Sejin's office, remembering exactly where it was from yesterday's meeting.

"Ah, good morning!" you read his lips as Sejin greeted you kindly from behind the glass door to his office. The bright smile on his face helped to ease the knot of tension that had grown in your stomach on the ride over. He motioned you in with a flick of his hand.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked cheerfully.

"Uh," you said, thinking of the stiff couch and the crick in your neck. "Yeah. Thanks."
