Chapter 9

Joe's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and saw Sofie, sound asleep next to me. She looked so cute and innocent, the way that she was cuddled up.

Oh no, what would Zoe think if she saw us sleeping together in Sofie's bed? Or had she already seen us.

I put on a shirt, and walked out into the kitchen. Zoe and Alfie were sitting on the lounge talking and watching TV.

Alfie noticed me, 'Hey Joe.'

'Hey Alfie and Zo', I said back to them, nervous about what they would say after this.

I sat down on the lounge beside them both and started watching the TV. It was some morning program, that Zoe probably watched everyday.

'I saw you two sleeping together last night when I came home Joe.' Zoe said when the ads came on. I felt a bit nervous about what to say to her.

'Yeah,' I mumbled, just loud enough for them to hear me.

'It was cute,' she said with a cheeky smile on her face. 'So I'm guessing that you like her?'

'Um, yeah,' I admitted, I was as nervous as hell right now. 'I'm going to go to the bathroom now,' I said walking off. I could tell that my face was burning red, and I just wanted to escape from anyone seeing me like this.

Sofie's P.O.V

When I woke up I stood near the door and listened to Zoe, Alfie and Joe talking. I still couldn't believe what happened last night. He actually liked me.
