Chapter 17

'So what's his name? Do you like him? Are you guys gonna go on a date or something?' Zoe starts to ask me.

'Um...' I start to think.

Do I actually like this guy? Should I give him a call? Or do I have more feelings for Joe?

'Hello?' Zoe waves her hands in front of my face.

'What,' I say quickly getting out of my questioning trance.

'Nevermind, but you know I'll ask you about him when we get home,' she says turning on her phone.

It was a quick and quiet trip home as the hospital was close to our house and we were both tired from today's events.

'So, at least tell me his name,' Zoe half yawns half speaks.

'Tom,' I say quietly as I get a glass of water.

'Hmm. You like him don't you?' She says with a smirk on her face.

She knows me too well. Of course I like him, or at least have feelings for him. I'm not quite sure yet.

'Maybe'

'You do Sofie! I can tell in the way your getting nervous. But just remember you have feeling for Joe too,' and she walks off to bed.

As I lay in my bed trying to drift off to sleep, I think about what Zoe had said earlier. Yes I did have lots of feelings for Joe, but Tom did seem like a nice bloke.

I don't know what to think about them both. Should I text Tom and go on a date with him, or would that jeopardise my relationship with Joe? Because I still don't know if we are dating or if we are just close friends.

I drift asleep with these questions in my mind.
