Chapter 16

'Do you like him?' Zoe whispered into my ear as we walked to the room where Joe was.

'I'm not sure, I'll talk to you when we get home,' I say trying to change the subject.

We walked into a crowded room with about 8 beds in it. Zoe, Alfie and I searched for Joe's bed, which ended up at the end of the room.

Joe was laying there with a big bandage on his foot, playing on his phone like usual.

'So you cut your foot open Mr Sugg?' Zoe asked as she jumped on the bed next to Joe who was obviously in pain.

'Have you had some painkillers yet?' I ask pulling out a chair and sitting down.

He stays silent for a moment thinking, 'I think the doctor said that he had given me some, but I'm not sure.'

We all laugh at Joe's stupidity. of course he would forget.

About an hour later Zoe, Alfie and I leave Joe in the hospital as the doctors said that he had to stay for the night.

Zoe says goodnight to Alfie and he drives off from the hospital, leaving me and Zoe to drive home and spend the night by ourselves.

As soon as we get into the car, Zoella starts asking me questions about the guy I met today...
