It was a nice, summer day in the town of Catsvill. The birds were chirping and the sound of happy giggles filled the air.
But in the house on the very corner of one of the streets was a married couple and their pet.
Their pet was a beautiful kitten called caramel. She had gotten her name because of her soft,silky fur . Her fur was all of the colours that you can imagine when you think of the word "Caramel". Her tail was dark brown ,almost black, with a little bit of orange at the tips. Her small body had orange and the dark brown, but around her neck it had looked like there was a white collar but it was her fluffy white , creamy fur that had made it look like that.
Before I tell you more about caramel and her family, I should tell you about how she got adopted . And this is where our story begins....
Caramel had started off her life on a corner of one of the gutters that run along the road. All she had remembered from then is her brothers and sisters crying while her mother had gone out for food and hadn't come back. She gets a headache if she tries to remember more from then so she doesn't .
After she was found on the corner of that gutter , she had been put up for adoption as a rescue cat.
Now and then people would walk into the little adoption store and look at her. Some of the children would say "Mum! Can we get her? " but the answer would always be "No".
A few weeks later , caramel still had been in that store. But little did she know that in a Couple of hours, She would meet her "Forever" family ....
