The cool breeze of the air-condition hit you as you strolled into the library.
It was finally the end of the mid-year papers and you decided to take a break by reading.
Scanning through the shelves, you finally found a book that caught your eye. As you were about to pull it out of the shelf, something stopped you.
Another hand was reaching for the same book, looking up, you saw someone familiar.
Park Jinyoung.
You both went to the same school but only had math lessons with each other so you didn't know him that well.
All you knew about him was that he was a popular straight As student.
"Oh, you want to read this?" He asked in a warm voice, as he slipped the book from the shelf.
Taken aback by his kindness, you simply nodded your head shyly.
"Here." He smiled as he pressed the book gently into your hands.
You muttered a soft 'thank you' before hurrying off to a quiet corner in the library.
Seeing the tip of your ears go red, the boy chuckled to himself as he grabbed another book from the shelf to read.

Jinyoung closed his locker in distress, sighing deeply to himself. He was supposed to get an 'A' for everything. How did he mess up his math paper?
Math was always his strongest subject but yet he scored a 'B' for the recent test.
The whole class was shocked, especially the teacher whose expectations for him had grown higher and higher after the numerous 'full marks' he achieved for math.
How was he going to face his parents now?
Just as he was about to leave, a hand tugged at the hem of his jacket.
He turned around to see that it was the girl from the library that day, (y/n).
"Yes?" He asked, as politely as possible despite being a little impatient.
"Um well.. that day you let me read the book first so i was wondering if you would like to read it now?" She mumbled as she handed over the book hesitantly to him.
A book?
Definitely what he needed right now to de-stress.
"Thank you," He smiled sincerely as he took the book from her hands. "Its just what i need now."
Before he was about to turn around and leave again, the same hand pulled him back.
"I hope you feel better. I mean.. the math test. You tried your best, thats all that matters actually." The girl grinned at him and for the first time, he noticed the cute dimple that appeared when she smiled.
"Thanks. See you around?" Jinyoung waved, as the tips of his ears grew a dark shade of red.
"Yea definitely." The girl replied, a shy smile playing on her lips.
