Layla is the only person I really have left now and HE wants to keep her!!?? Officer Daniels looks at both of us and looks deep in thought before stating 'why don't we let a judge decide?'. I ask him how long that will take because I will try anything I can to get to keep Layla. Kane is just standing there looking angrier and angrier by every second passing. Officer Daniels says he can try to see if there is an opening in emergency family court or otherwise Layla will have to stay with a foster family till there is an opening. 'Thank you for being so considerate of to us Officer' I say. Halfway through saying that Kane storms off swearing and causing a scene. Once Kane was far enough away from us Officer Daniels says 'I really hope you get custody of her because I pulled up both of your files earlier and he should not be father let alone looking after a baby by himself!' I smile and then Layla starts to fuss. 

I excuse myself and go on the hunt for Layla's Nappy bag, I finally find it after what felt like forever especially since I now was carrying a crying, Hungry and Tired baby around a crash scene. I change her dirty nappy while she holds her bottle and then start rocking her to sleep when Officer Daniels comes over ' sorry to interrupt but there is an opening in court for in about 10mins so if don't mind meeting us down there we can hopefully get this sorted out'. I go in search of Kane but can't see him or his car anywhere so I ask around and apparently, he drove off about 10 minutes ago.

I grab my phone, Layla and her nappy bag and start the short walk to the courts which thankfully is only a 15 minute walk, I walk as fast as I can and get there in about 11minutes. I walk into the courts and gets a few strange looks of why is there a 15 year old girl walking into a court with a baby by herself, I was just about to walk over to the receptionist when I hear some on call out my name. I turn around and its Officer Daniels, 'wheres Kane?' he enquires, 'I don't know he drove away before you even came over to tell me to meet you here', 'How did you get here?' he asks?, I simply reply with 'we walked'. As he was about to say something another person yells out court is now commencing, we all walk into the courtroom and sit and wait for our names to be called. My name is read out and I'm asked to go up the front and speak, I try to give Layla to officer Daniels but she doesn't want to leave my side and the judge says that I can take her with me. I walk up the front and sit where I have been told to sit and just as the judge is about to start talking a furious Kane walks in and sits down heavily.
