As they are putting the last few boxes in Kane gets home and starts yelling abusive language at us,  saying we are stealing his baby and that we were going to pay for this. Layla starts to cry and all of the movers start to look worried, I text Officer Daniels since thankfully he gave me his number just in case I needed it. I text him telling him about the situation and says he will send someone over asap. In a matter of minutes, a police car arrives and handles the situation by putting Kane in handcuffs and in the back of the cop car.

After everything is packed the mover help unpack all of the stuff and put it in the lounge room but I have to assemble it and put it all away so I do what I always do when I need help I text my friends. I text them asking if anyone was free to help sort out all of the stuff and they all replied and said they were coming over in about 45mins.  I decide before my friends arrive that I should make a start on sorting, so I put Layla in her walker and start to put different boxes into different sections like all of the clothes in one pile & all of the toys in another etc. When I finish that Abby and Sadie arrive and within 5 mins so does Alice.  We start by cleaning out the already existing furniture in Layla's new room (My sister room before she moved out), we take out all of the clothes, the porta cot and anything else but leave the couch bed. We then decide what I want to keep, chuck, donate or sell.

After about an hour and a half, of sorting we decide to eat lunch. Once we have finished lunch we sort for at least 4 more hours before my friends have to leave. It's now 4 pm ish and we have done most of the work but there is still a little bit to go. I finish all of the sorting and put all of the things we don't need at the moment but will in the future up in the attic.  Once I have put everything in the attic, I go and start to rearrange Layla's room. I put the pull-out couch bed in the corner and it takes up most of the room even folded up, then Layla's cot directly in the gap next to the pull-out and all of her clothes and toys in the cupboard. It still looks really plain and basic but its as good as it's going to get now.

Once I have finished sorting I put Layla down for her afternoon nap, and I start to make dinner. I just make a simple dinner of sausages and salad. I eat quickly and finish cleaning up when Layla wakes up so I change her nappy and give her dinner. We just hang out together till its bedtime for both of us. We go to bed early because we have to get up early for school tomorrow.
