I walk with Abby to the creche and grab my bag and the pram, I put Layla into her pram and on the way to our first class she falls asleep. I'm kinda glad she's asleep because it means the first class will be easy-ish. Period 1 I have cooking, were making mini Quiches so it's not too hard. I walk in and everyone stops and looks at me, I push the pram into an empty corner and do the shhh motion with my hands. I walk over to where everyone is standing in the kitchen bit of the room. All at once everyone starts to ask a billion questions including my teacher. I tell them the story and then allow them to ask questions, I got asked multiple times; 'what's her name', 'is it a boy or girl', 'you sure she's not yours' and 'how old is she' even though I addressed all of that in the story I still answered.

After about 20mins of the lesson Layla woke up, I went and got her out of the pram and took her around for everyone to meet her. Once she waved, smiled and baby talked with everyone I put her in her carrier and continued cooking carefully. Once we were done making the Quiches and waiting for them to cook we went to sit down and I let Layla crawl around on the floor and a few people asked if they could cuddle her, I let everyone have a cuddle and let my teacher hold her while my group and I got our Quiches out of the oven. At the end of the lesson, my teacher pulls me aside and says how proud she is of me for taking on so much responsibility, living on my own, raising a baby and still attending school without any family to help me. She also says if I ever need someone to look after her and shes got a free period or sometimes even not she is more than happy to look after Layla. I thank her and Layla waves goodbye and we go to our next class; Geography.

A couple of my friends walk with me to Geography since we all have it just in different classes. I walk to my classroom and half of my class are already outside waiting for the teacher so I join them and if they asked about Layla, I tell them about her when we get inside so I can tell sir as well as everyone else. My teacher finally arrives and he looks incredibly confused. I walk in and Layla is squealing out of the excitement of seeing new people and everyone giving her attention, I get her out of her pram and hold her hands so she can stand up. I help her walk to the front of the class and I go through the same conversation that I have had with so many people so far today and it's only 9 am! Once I have answered all of the questions and passed Layla around I ask sir if it's okay if while we are working if I can let Layla crawl around as long as she's not too distracting. He says that that's okay, so I put her on the floor with a few of her toys and she just crawls around and goes to people in the class and try to convince them to pick her up, I say that if you have finished the work then you can pick her up but if not you have to finish then you can have a cuddle.
