Amelia is an average 15 year old girl till one day her whole life gets turned upside down and she ends up being a teen mum but not in the way you think......
It's 5:45 am when my alarm goes off, I lay in bed for about 10mins before deciding to finally get up. I make my self some tea and get my breakfast, then I wake up Layla and we snuggle for a little bit. I change her nappy and give her some toast and yogurt for breakfast. Once she has finished breakfast I give her her bottle and go brush my teeth and put my hair up in a messy bun. Once I'm ready I brush Layla's hair and go and find her an outfit; (minus the beanie)

I wanted something cute so that she would make a good first impression. I get her dressed and pack my school bag for the day, then I pack Laylas nappy bag with all the things we will need like nappies, formula, bottles, toys etc. Once I have finished packing both our bags it's 6:50 so I grab my keys and do all of the last minute things, and I set up her pram and put her, the nappy bag and everything else in it including the carrier because I think it might come in handy. I walk over to Alice's house since were walking to school and meeting our other friends there.
I arrive at Alice's but this time everyone is home and they all crowd around Layla. Alice and I start walking and arrive at school at about 7:15 am, and no-one else is really there yet. We meet Sadie and Abby and all head up to the front office. We walk in and go to the deputy principals office; Layla and I go in but my friends wait outside. I talk to the deputy about my plans etc and she says Layla can come to class with me whenever I need her to and she can attend the creche the 2 days it runs. She also gives me a key to the creche that I can use only to change Laylas nappy, park the pram etc and she also gets gives me a laminated note saying:
Amelia is allowed out of class if she needs to tend to Layla, and may have a friend with her to assist her.

I thank her and promise I will use both responsibly. I leave and my friends are still waiting out the front so we walk down to where we normally hang out in the morning before school, luckily it's also right next to the Creche. My other friends won't be here for another 5 miss Layla, Sadie, Abby, Alice and I go into the creche and leave the pram in there. I just grab Layla and we all go out and wait. I get a lot of weird looks from people walking by, then most of my other friends arrive and so I introduce Layla and tell them about what happened and what's happening now.
The bell rings for roll call, so we all head into the quad. I leave all of Layla's stuff and my bag in the Creche and go to roll call. Ms Opare and I discussed how I would do roll call so I do what we discussed. I go sit in roll call and everyone is staring at us and of course, Layla being Layla starts to wave, smile and baby talk at them. When the teachers start to make their announcements people stop staring as much and I have to give Layla her dummy so she stops trying to talk to everyone. I tell a few people that I sit next to about what's going on. Once the next bell goes signing the end of roll call so many people come up to us and ask questions, I try to answer a few but I knew I had to go get the pram etc and still get to class.
