Chapter 5 | REWRITTEN

Kai, Marcus, and Holly stood outside the noodle house. Kai sighed, as memories flooded into his head

How they met at the tournament, and how they took down her dad together. Finding out her powers and her secrets. They grew fond of each other, but maybe this was time to say goodbye.

He didn't need to kill the ninjas, but he wanted them dead.

Nya, his sister, always knew that he was still broken after his fathers death. She knew that Kai was bullied as a child. She knew that he had bad self esteem as a child. He knew that Kai gave his all into taking care of Nya as he juggled his own life in the other hand.

He was freed from the chains that held his arms and found out that his parents were still alive.

He found his amazing girlfriend Skylor.

Then he fell again, his parents couldnt live very long after they were found. His father went first, then his mother.

He was alone, and no one helped or bothered to even hear his cries. He wanted to make sure that everyone suffered, that everyone knew how it felt like to have your "golden years" thrown in the trash.

He was going to make sure that everyone would regret hurting him...

The Bullies...

(Look at the stupid a**! He probably got another F, and has to do the grade again!" The boys snickered as the girls laughed with them.
Kai walked down the hallway and ran as they heard them talking again.
'I'm not dumb...they're the dumb ones.. even though they're so popular..they're so pretty and good-looking...'

Kai looked at himself

There's nothing special about me...Im just..ugly..thin..stupid..unpopular..'

They're right.)

The sour fans...

("Wow! You get praise just for doing something that anyone else could've done?"
"Why do you even get credit for that? Zane basically did everything."
"You only get in the way of things! I'm not sure how you're even considered a ninja.")

They're all gonna die.

Afterall, who was gonna stop him?

(With the ninjas)
"Come in!" A cheerful feminine voice called from the back.
"Hey Skylor." Nya said as she walked up all sad like.

"What's up Nya? Why so down?" Skylor looked at the group of ninjas as she read everyone's face.
That's Nya in front of me, next to her is Jay, then it's Zane and Cole behind them. That's one, two, three, four...

Nya took a deep breath before speaking.
"Well, my brother..is..well.."
Nya looked down as she pulled on Jays arms.

"He's not on our..side anymore. He left the team.." Jay finished as he bit his lip.
Skylor dropped her clipboard. A few people looking her way.

"What do you..."She stuck her hands in her hair.
"STOP IT! this ISN'T funny guys!" she screamed as she held her head in her hands.

"That boyfriend of yours decided that he wanted to kill us, and now we have no home to stay in!" Cole complained irritated.

"Correction, you have no home Cole. They do." Skylor said as she put her hands on her hips.

"But I'm the team leader!" He shouted again. Customers giving him weird looks.
"You certainly don't act like it." Skylor shot back as she led the others to the back.

"Oh?! I'LL SHOW YOU!" He said as walked closer to Skylor.
He threw his fist toward her when something blocked him.

"Stop acting like an Idiot Cole." Zane said as he froze Coles hand mid-air.
"Oh ho ho! Guys! Zane said 'IDIOT!'" Jay teased as he something sparked inside him.

"Excuse my language Cole, but shut the f*** up and listen for more than 5 seconds."

Cole backed away surprised at Zane's response.
"Cole, I don't know why you have been acting like this. But if you are going to act like a child, I will happily take your place, and delete you from my database. Cause I don't need any junk in my system." Zane pushed again.

"I'm sick of you being a little a** b****, and I want you to listen to me."

Coles eyes widen as he opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. He closed his mouth as his eye began to twitch.

"Your attitude is not welcome here, and you can leave if you're going to keep this up. We are suffering from not having Kai, and your dumb actions aren't helping."

"Zane! What did you just..." Cole looked as if he didn't believe what just came out of Zane's mouth.

The others were cheering in the background as Zane kept a hard expression, Cole keeping a confused expression.

"You heard me! I may be considerate unlike someone, but I do know when to stand up for my friends as well. I also know how to take out the trash."

"You make me do it all the time, I don't see why I can't do it again right now." He said as he continued to scowl at Cole.

"I.."
I really messed up huh..
Cole thought. He knew for a fact that Zane would never ever say something like that without a reason. After all, he wasn't Jay.

(Back With Kai)
He had arrived at the noodle house at last as he looked up at the illuminated sign. He went into a dark alleyway and took out his journal.

Kai's Journal

Entry 5. X/XX/XXXX
Day 5
Dear Journal,
I'm about to walk into my beloved girlfriends noddle house. She basically lives there so I'm walking into her house now. I'm kinda nervous for some reason.

I loved her very much and I miss her in my arms and he telling me that she loved me. But, hey, there comes a time for all things to end. Things with a start, have an end.

I'm at the end of the street, I either cross the risky way, or I give in and just walk back to where I came from. Start all over again.

Boy doesn't that sound good. Starting again, having a reset button in your life. A undo button for every little mistake you make. Look like the perfect person to others.

Hide all your flaws inside.

But hey, life just doesn't work out for all of us. I don't remember how I got into this position but all I know is-

I will succeed. And only me. I will be the last one standing, and all who get in my way shall perish.
