Chapter 12

Cole grabbed Lloyd's hand and held it tight. He twisted Lloyd around so that Lloyd was now looking at Cole directly in the eyes. (No this ain't no moss shipping moment. I hate that sorry.)

"I don't want to sound cliche or anything, but we may die at this moment Lloyd. I don't want you to remember me as a horrible being."

Lloyd slowly nodded.

"I want you to remember me as someone who was your friend. Your ally. Your teammate."

Lloyd smiled warmly as tears formed in the corners of his eyes.

"Aww..how sweet. Too bad I have to ruin this ever so precious moment." Kai mocked before turning the safety off and putting his finger on the trigger.

Nya, Zane, and Jay all looked over sadly,
Where did it go so wrong..why did this happen.. How did it come to this?

So this is how the ninjas end. The ninjas shall be no more, and ninjago will be forced under Kai's control.

So there's no majestic ending. There's no ending worth crying for. No ending that's memorable.

No person to say 'I got to see the ninjas last before they past, they saved me life.'
No one to even know about their death.

Jay and Nya looked at each other sadly as Zane continued to glitch in and out. They all felt helpless, but they were glad that this ended with everyone together.

Cole and Lloyd closed their eyes and braces themselves for the pain they were going to feel shoot throughout their entire body...

But that pain never came.

They were transported into a separate area. A nice living room it seemed.

"Wow. You guys give up easily." A voice snarkily replied.
"I don't mean to be rude but I do agree with her." Another voice piped.

The two boys opened their eyes to be met with a set of two more.
"Hey Mr. Cole!" Daniella waved.

"Mr. Who?" The other girl asked.
"This is..actually you can introduce yourselves."

"Oh. I'm Lloyd! Master of Energy and this is Cole, master of Earth." Lloyd introduces himself and Cole.

"Oh. I'm Arianna."

"Are you guys twins?"
"Yeah, we're twins." Daniella nodded.
"No wonder you guys look similar." Lloyd added to Coles question.

"Heh." Arianna chuckled a little before she left to go get the boys something to eat.

"So what kind of garbage situation were you guys in back there?" Daniella started.
"Well, our evil friend Kai was about to shoot us." Cole answered.

Lloyd hit him on the arm.

"Ouch, jeez. What I meant is that he used to be good and then he became evil. He's the one you saved me from last time."
"Oh." Daniella nodded thoughtfully.

"I'm back with cookies." Arianna emerges from nowhere.
"Oh! Thanks!" Lloyd takes one and shoves it in his mouth.

Cole just said no thank you.
"Sorry I'm more of a cake person."
"Oh that's fine."

~Time Rewinds~

Arianna just emerged from nowhere.
"I got Cake and cookies!" She exclaimed as she handed Cole a slice and Lloyd a cookie.

"How'd you know?" Cole asked confused.
"You just seemed like a cake person." Arianna shrugged.

"But you said you didn't recognize us." Lloyd questioned.

~Time Rewinds~

"Wow. You guys give up easily." Arianna remarked.
"I don't want to be rude but, yeah, I have to agree with her." Daniella replies nodding her head.

The two boys opened their eyes and looked around at their surroundings.
"Who are you?"

"I'm Arianna. And you probably already know Daniella, Earthboy. She told me all about you."

"Oh I see." Cole nodded.

"I'll get you guys something to drink and eat, you can talk with my sister for a bit."
At that moment Arianna disappeared.

"So are you guys twins?"
"Yeah actually!" Daniella smiled.
"Oh that's cool! I always wanted a twin. Than again, there can't be two green ninjas so." Lloyd said laughing.

"I'm back." Arianna emerges out of nowhere.
"I got you cake and cookies. I know that those are your favorites!" She smirked as she handed them out.

"Oh wow! Thanks!" Lloyd shoves cookies into his mouth.
"Dude, got any manners?" Cole questioned.
"Nope!"

~Timeskip~

Lloyd and Cole had agreed to stay the night in the guest room. Cole was on the couch as Lloyd was walking around examining pictures.

"Whoa what's this?"
There was a Vermillion Warriors helmet on a pedestal in the back. And a painting that the ninjas had seen in the museum with the elemental masters fighting the time twins.

"How'd they get their hands on this? And why would they have it..?" Lloyd asked nobody.

"Hm?" He looked over and picked up a picture of what looked like Arianna and Daniella when they're younger with..

Lloyd dropped the picture in shock.

"No way."

~With Kai~

"You idiots. Really are helpless huh? Helpless without your precious green ninja?" Kai mocked.

"I don't mean to be rude but you sound a little like Morro." Jay snapped.
"Shut it motormouth. I'll engulf you in my flames if you dare insult me."

Jay gulped and didn't say another word.

"Kai, I don't get why you're doing this. We're really sorry, we weren't thinking straight." Nya attempted to reason with him.

"We know that our Kai is still in there." Nya smiled.

"THAT KAI IS DEAD." Kai screamed at Nya. Nya flinched and began to cry.

"Ha. Such a pathetic sister."

She cried harder.

"Oh did that hurt your feelings?? Oh wait! I'm a pathetic brother to you aren't I? Boo hoo." Kai took his finger and dragged it along his cheek.

"I just wanna cry like you!!" He laughed evilly.
"Kai please we're sorry. We would love to restart." Zane piped in.

"Well I don't want to. But do you know what's something I would like to restart?" Kai asked.

"What?" Zane asked.

"You!"
