The sound of shouting could be heard from Lorenzo's room as he chucks a chair at the wall in anger and frustration, causing it to burst into pieces. He huffs and puffs as he paces the floor, eyes glowing with rage with in the darkness. Even if he wanted to turn on the light, he couldn't. He had ripped the light fixture right out of the ceiling and shattered every lamp in sight. Claw marks filled the walls and furniture, the collection only growing as he lost himself to madness. The mattress and bedding had been reduced to a mass of feathers, cotton and springs, and the curtains over the windows had been torn to shreds. He acted blindly in his rage, but no longer cared.
"I can't take it! I can't take it anymore!" he shouts, hot tears streaming down his cheeks as he pulled at his hair. "I can't do this. I'd rather die than do one more thing for that fucking brat! I want her dead!" He seethes and collapses to the floor, leaning his head back against the wall. This wasn't worth it. None of it was worth it?
Why had he subjected himself to this for so long? He growls ferociously. If anyone were to look at him now, they would see a feral animal. Any scrap of humanity he had, left him. Things weren't improving, they were worsening. Today he had nearly been killed by that little bitch. She had practically thrown him over the banister of the staircase to see if cats really do land on their feet. Next, she would be sure to check if he had nine lives.
Thankfully, he found out he does indeed catch himself on his feet and can drop harmlessly from tall heights, but he had not known that prior. Footsteps rush towards his door and throw it open, revealing the whole family along with a few concerned staff members, who cover their mouths at the sight of the room. They had all been alerted by the shouting and worried that something might've happened.
"Lorenzo, what happened in here? What did you do?" Reginald asks as he approaches the boy. Unable to comprehend his voice or face, Lorenzo only noticed that a figure was approaching and leapt in attack. The older man shouts and narrowly dodges the creature who runs to the other corner of the room, growling and hissing like a wild beast. "Lorenzo, that's enough!"
"Piss off!" he snaps back, taking them all by surprise. Lorenzo's rage had always been clouded by fear, so he had never acted so boldly.
"That is not how you talk to me!" Reginald shouts back, hurt that the boy he practically raised was turning on him.
"I don't give a rat's ass! I've had it! I've had it with all of you! You're horrible! You're wretched! You're evil!" His eyes narrow in on Lillian, who was enjoying the show with a sick and twisted gleam in her eyes. That smug look she wore snapped his last bit of sanity. He charged, baring his fangs and aiming for the throat as he her knocked her over. Had one of the nearby servants not knocked into him, he might've actually done it. He spits curses while clawing the man's face and weaseling out of his grasped only to be held down by more people as Lillian was comforted by her mother and brought into her arms. "Fuck you! Fuck you all! Die! Just fucking die!" Reginald's eyes teared up. This was not the boy he knew. Maybe it was a mistake...
