Ji Eun walked slowly down the sidewalks of Seoul. She had decided that this night would be a good night to go alone out in the light that the moon provided. It was Friday again, and after last weekend she decided that this weekend would be a "Ji Eun Weekend." She had an assignment to get done everyday this week and a paper that she needed to get finished by next Tuesday. All Ji Eun needed tonight was to find a peaceful place to sit and read a book or look up at the stars.
She stood at a corner, patiently waiting to cross the street. She had spotted a small ramen shop across the street called "Got Noods?" She chuckled at the name the first time she read it, but upon reading it again she decided that ramen sounded pretty good.
Whenever she reached the door she grabbed the handle and stepped inside. She stood right in the doorway and looked around the restaurant. She stood there for a minute or two before she felt a small tap on her shoulder. She turned around quickly to see a man behind her. Then she heard him laugh lightly, she scrunched her eyebrows at him.
"We have to stop meeting like this," said the man in front of her. He looked familiar but she couldn't place where she had saw him. "You're Ji Eun, right?" Ji Eun still had a look of confusion and he could tell so he went on. "I'm Jung Hoseok, we met last weekend at Jimin's birthday party."
The second he said his name it clicked in Ji Eun's mind. Then she laughed a little. "Sorry, I forgot who you were," she said sheepishly, feeling bad for the guy. "And yes we really should stop meeting like this, it's quite embarrassing for me." She thinks back to the embarrassing moment last weekend that they had pretty much reenacted tonight.
Hoseok laughs and says, "How about I treat you to some noodles to repay for interrupting you both these times?"
Ji Eun instantly thinks Decline him, no. "No, no there's no need for that. I'm the one that was in the way anyway. Honestly, I should be the one to treat you." She chuckled, but the second what she said sunk in she was horrified. She really should be treating him, it's only polite, but she didn't want to spend her night with this guy. She didn't want to take the chance of having a good time with him and actually enjoying his company because he was a man, they all leave in the end, right?
"Is that an offer?" His words break her thought process.
Is it? She questioned herself, for a little longer than she should have before she finally answered him. "Yeah, I think it is." Ji Eun told herself she just wouldn't enjoy his company and even if she did it was one night she would just forget about him later. And by doing this she could tell her friends that she in fact did hang out with a male and that they could get off her back about it.

"I work in an office building right now, it's not exactly a luxurious job but it pays the bills. Where do you work?" Hoseok inquired.
"I don't have a job right now."
"Oh, why is that if you don't mind me asking?"
"Just a few different reasons. Anyway, which office do you work in?"
~~
"Really?" Ji Eun laughed.
"Yes, really. Yoongi just laughed and stared at me lying there on the ground." He answered as he took a drink of his drink.
"I would have done the same thing, honestly. Who's Yoongi? Your friend?"
"Yeah, he's my best friend. We've been through a lot together. I think you'd like him, maybe I can introduce you to him sometime." Ji Eun only gave a small nod back to answer Hoseok before she took the last bite of her ramen. "Actually, if you would like, but only if you want to, you could meet him tomorrow."
"Oh really? And where would I be able to meet your dear friend Yoongi?"
"Well you see I am actually a street dancer and he is manning the stereo for me tomorrow night and if you came you could meet him." Hoseok stated.
"A street dancer? Hmm, well if I went that means I'd have to see you dance, no?" Ji Eun was already mentally scolding herself for even considering going to meet his friend when her original plan was to forget this night after it was over, but they had already been in this restaurant for an hour and a half talking.
"Presumably, yes."
"Okay, so, what if you're no good and I have to watch you just too meet your friend?" Ji Eun cracks a smile not being able to hold her serious face.
Hoseok gives a big smile right back to her. "I guess you'd have to come to be the judge of whether I'm any good or not."
"I guess." Ji Eun laughed.
"Is that a yes?"
Ji Eun stops for a second and thinks about it. On one hand she'd be completely ruining her plan to forget about this man in front of her, but on the other it sounds very fun and she's interested to see if he really is a good dancer. But there's also the chance that she becomes attached to him for going and seeing him again and then he leaves just like every other guy. Ji Eun couldn't decide if she wanted to risk getting hurt yet again. But, then it hit her that she definitely wouldn't forget about Hoseok if she walked out of this place tonight with that exact intention, so she made her decision.
"Yeah it's a yes. I have to know how bad you are at dancing and this Yoongi sounds like a fun person." Ji Eun shrugged.
"Okay." Hoseok laughed as he pulled out his phone. "Here put your number in my contacts so I can get you all of the details tomorrow." Ji Eun took his phone into her hand and began typing. A few moments later she handed him his phone back. "'The Girl Who's Always in the Doorway.'" Hoseok read out from his phone and laughed at what Ji Eun had put her name as in his contacts.
Ji Eun laughed too and then stood up from her seat. "I'm going to go pay for this, I need to get headed home."
"Okay." Hoseok smiled and stood as well.

Later that night Ji Eun lay in her bed with Picasso thinking about what she had actually done. She had let this boy into her life, it wasn't her intention at all but that's exactly what happened. Ji Eun didn't like that she had aloud this but he had so much charm and he was so sweet and that smile. His smile was so bright and lovely. But no matter how great his smile was Ji Eun still feared the inevitable: him leaving. She had experienced that pain one too many times and it wasn't exactly on her list of 'things to do' this year. So, Ji Eun made the decision right before she drifted into dreamland that tomorrow was going to be the last time that she hung out with Hoseok because she couldn't risk getting hurt again.
Hoseok also lay in his bed later that night wondering how he had actually gotten Ji Eun to agree to come tomorrow. After talking for about thirty minutes Hoseok new that he wanted to form some kind of relationship with Ji Eun whatever it end up being, romantic or not. She had been a little stand-offish at the beginning of their time together but she seemed to get comfortable after a little bit of talking. Although Hoseok had noticed that he didn't get all that much information about Ji Eun that night, she avoided giving him any meaningful information about herself. Hoseok had just pegged that to the fact that they had only just met and she wouldn't want to tell him too much about herself anyway. None the less he had gotten her to come see him dance tomorrow. Although he had had to use Yoongi as his reasoning for wanting her to come, there was a small part of him that just wanted her to come see him do the thing that he loved doing the most.
