"No that's not what I meant." Ji Eun laughed, as she shook her head.
"I don't know, Ji Eun. It really sounded like you meant exactly that." Hoseok tried to keep a straight face as he said this but ended up breaking out his huge bright smile Ji Eun liked so much in the end.
"Whatever, think what you want then." Ji Eun shrugged and smiled back at the man. "When are your friends supposed to be here again?" Ji Eun asked as she looked to the door. She had agreed to meet some of Hoseok's other friends. She was very nervous and didn't really want to meet them but Hoseok had looked so excited about introducing her, she couldn't say no. So, now here they were waiting on Hoseok's two friends.
"Hoseok!" A voice exclaimed before Hoseok could answer Ji Eun.
"Right there." He smiled and stood up to walk to his friend. Hoseok embraced him and then he embraced the girl standing beside the other. That's when Ji Eun's hand started to get very sweaty and her leg began to shake. Hoseok turned to her, "This is Ji Eun." he smiled brightly.
"Hi, I'm MiHi it's really nice to finally meet you." MiHi took Ji Eun's sweaty hand into her own and shook it. Instantly, Ji Eun worried about how sweaty her hand was and how this girl that she had just met had just shaken it. But to Ji Eun's surprise MiHi didn't even act like she had just shaken a profusely sweaty hand. "Hoseok has told us a lot about you." Ji Eun began to wonder what Hoseok had told them, he didn't know all that much about her himself, she had made sure of that.
"Yes, yes he has." The man beside MiHi said a bit exasperated. "I'm Jungkook." He also shook Ji Eun's hand, which she had managed to wipe discreetly before.
"It's really nice to meet you guys too. Hoseok said that you are a couple, that's really sweet. You guys look good together." Ji Eun smiled to the two.
"Okay, let's get going?" Hoseok asked. Ji Eun nodded to him and grabbed her purse.
"Remind me again why we met at this coffee shop and not at the restaurant we are eating at?" MiHi asked on the way out the door. Hoseok shrugged his shoulders and looked to Jungkook who mirrored the older man. "This is why I shouldn't have let these two do the planning." MiHi looked over to Ji Eun who laughed. "Next time text me about things like this instead of him, Hoseok-oppa."
"Will do, MiHi." Hoseok gave the young girl a salute which made everyone laugh.

"So, how did you guys meet?"
"He approached me at the cafe that I work at and asked for my number, the rest is history." MiHi grabbed Jungkook's hand and smiled.
"What about you and Hoseok?"
Ji Eun's eyes widened at MiHi's question. She didn't know if MiHi knew that her and Hoseok were not dating, that they were only friends. Even though Hoseok would have a problem with the relationship being more. Ji Eun had small thoughts of their relationship being more that scared her even more than their friendship did, so she pushed those thoughts away as fast as they came.
"Oh, we have a mutual friend and we met at her birthday party." Ji Eun smiled slightly then took a bite of her food quickly.
"Yeah, then we bumped into each other again at a ramen shop and we've been friends ever since." Hoseok smiled to Ji Eun. Instantly, Ji Eun felt relief flood her body at Hoseok's words, if MiHi didn't know before she does now.
"How long ago was that?" MiHi looked up from her plate to Ji Eun and Hoseok.
"Um...four, five months ago, right?" Ji Eun looked to Hoseok.
"Yeah it's been almost five months." He took a drink after he finished his sentence.
"That's really cool." Jungkook spoke, nodding.
"How long ago did you two meet?" Ji Eun asked to keep the conversation going.
"Well we met a year ago but we've been dating for 6 months."
"Almost 7." Jungkook added to MiHi's statement.
The rest of the night the four ate, talked, and laughed. Ji Eun felt a friendship growing between her and MiHi, which made her happy. Ji Eun and Jungkook had, as much as Ji Eun hated to admit, a friendship beginning to flourish as well.
Hoseok was glad that Ji Eun had gotten along with his friends. He didn't know what he would have done if they had ended up not enjoying one another's company because Hoseok had decided that he wouldn't mind for Ji Eun to be something more to him.
"I hope you had a good night." Hoseok smiled to Ji Eun as they sat in front of her house.
"I did. I really, really did. Thank you."
"No, thank you."
"For what?" Ji Eun chuckled softly.
"I don't know, for being my friend, for hanging out with me I guess. Just thank you."
"You're welcome." Ji Eun smiled and then began exiting the car.
"Tell your mom I said hi. Goodnight Ji Eun." Hoseok said as Ji Eun stepped out of the car.
"Goodnight Hoseok." She then closed the passenger door and made her way to her front door.
As much as Hoseok wanted to be happy about Ji Eun getting along with MiHi and Jungkook, he couldn't not think about how he could tell that Ji Eun was closed off all night. He knew that she was a closed off person in general he's been struggling getting to know her, with little success, but she was extra closed off tonight.
Ji Eun had a good time tonight. She had to keep telling herself that. Although she had, she knew that it was terrifying her deep down. She was nervous the whole night. She made sure not to share too much about herself to the two strangers, who slowly became friends after this night. Ji Eun and MiHi had even exchanged numbers so they could meet up again, just the two of them. The idea of it just being herself and MiHi didn't scare Ji Eun as bad as the dinner had tonight. Even though the dinner was scary and nerve-racking, Ji Eun didn't regret going to it and meeting Hoseok's two wonderful friends.
