Seoyeon decided that she would go visit Ji Eun that next day, knowing that she wouldn't be out during the day and that Ji Eun was busy after the sun went down. Seoyeon gave a light knock on the door of Ji Eun and her mother's home and then stepped inside shouting, "Hey, it's Seoyeon." throughout the house to let the occupants of the home know who had invaded.

Eun Ae stepped out of the kitchen with a spatula covered in batter in her hand and an apron adorning her waist. "Hello sweetie you came at just the right time, I was just making some pancakes for a late breakfast. Ji Eun is still in her room could you go upstairs and get her so she can eat?"

"Of course! Be right back!" Seoyeon smiled to Eun Ae before bolting up the stairs yelling, "Park Ji Eun you better be awake or I'm jumping on top of you!"

"My thigh has a bruise on it now thanks to you." Ji Eun stated flatly to Seoyeon.

Seoyeon hummed in response as she rubbed her stomach in satisfaction after eating the delicious pancakes just moments earlier. "You should have been awake then. You're mother is a fabulous cook, have I ever told you that?"

"Yes, Seoyeon, literally every time you eat her food you tell me that." Ji Eun laughed at her friend. "Hey, could you go open the curtain a bit so some sunshine can come in?"

"Yeah, sure." Seoyeon said then walked over to the window. "How much do I do it? I don't want to open it too much."

"Whatever is fine Seoyeon. It shouldn't reach the bed no matter how wide they are opened, I just want to be able to see it."

Seoyeon nodded and opened the curtains about halfway. She made her way back to the bed and plopped down beside Ji Eun. "It's very ironic how much you like the sunshine but you can't be in it without breaking out in a huge rash."

"Yes, I know. I've had to live with that irony my whole life, thank you for pointing it out."

"Sorry." Seoyeon mumbled. The room went quiet for a few moments before Seoyeon broke it not liking the awkwardness of it. "Have you wrote any new poems?"

"Just one. Here." Ji Eun pulled a notebook off her bedside table and flipped to a page toward the middle to a poem named Radiance.

"Radiance." Seoyeon reads aloud before reading the rest to herself.

"I remember you first as a child,
Warm, Bright, Radiant.
You meant
Summer days spent in parks,
Blankets on the grass,
Freckles and red cheeks.

I embraced you,
Your warmth was my haven.
Now I can't remember
The last time I felt you
Without also
Feeling pain.

I don't remember when it started,
Ache, Hurt, Fear.
You are
Summer days spent in hiding,
Hood on my head
Large glasses and long sleeves.

I run from you,
Your light is my enemy.
Now I can remember
The time I left you
For another;
Your reflection.

I know him now rather than you,
Gentle, Quiet, Lonely.
He is
The soft presence that guides me,
Blue light on the sidewalk
Headlights and crickets chirping.

I cling to him,
His glow is my company.
I don't remember
When I started to forget
He is still
What remains of you."

"This is super good Ji Eun, remind me again why you're majoring in business and not like writing or something." Seoyeon laughs as she closes the notebook and  places it back on the nightstand.

"Well, it's simple actually, a business major will actually get me a good job somewhere, hopefully, and a writing major will just be a writing major that sits on the sidelines that i have a slim chance of actually using for a job in the end. I'm minoring in writing, though. You should know this Seoyeon." Ji Eun rolled her eyes at her friend after standing up. "I'm going to the bathroom."

Seoyeon put an okay sign up with her hand in response. Seoyeon sits in almost complete silence for a few moments humming to herself when Ji Eun's phone dings. The phone lay on the pillow next to her, so Seoyeon took a short glance over to see who had texted her assuming that it would be Boyoung sending her some kind of meme. She reads the little notification bubble quietly, "Text from Jung Hoseok." She turns her eyes back to the ceiling and begins to hum again. She hums for only a second before her eyes become saucers and she shouts, "Wait what?!" as she grabs the phone up from its resting place to see if she in fact read the notification correctly. This text was definitely not a meme from Boyoung.

Ji Eun walks back onto her room to see Seoyeon staring down at her phone with wide eyes. Ji Eun's eyebrows instantly scrunch together. What could Seoyeon be so surprised by on her phone? It's not like Ji Eun has anything bad on there.

Ji Eun cautiously walks closer to Seoyeon and asks in a whisper, "Seoyeon? Are you--"

"Text from Jung Hoseok." Seoyeon interrupts her in an eerily calm  voice and shoves Ji Eun's phone into her face.

Ji Eun's eyes widen but she begins to laugh lightly after a moment. Seoyeon brings the phone down away from Ji Eun's face and looks at her with confusion.

"Sorry. It's not even funny." Ji Eun slowly quiets her laughter. "Okay, let me explain."

"Yes, please do young lady."

"I'm older than you Seoyeon."

"That is besides the point, explain this." Seoyeon points to the phone in her hand.

"Okay, okay." Ji Eun takes her phone from Seoyeon and sits down. "I met him at Minnie's birthday party, you saw me talking to him actually. But um last night I ran into him at a ramen shop and we ended up eating together. It was actually a pretty nice night. I had this plan to leave and forget about him from the beginning of the night but obviously that didn't happen." Ji Eun wiggles her cell phone.

"Okay, so first of all I'm proud of you for actually talking to a guy period. Second, that still doesn't explain why he texted you."

"Well he mentioned his friend, Yoongi, and I asked about him to keep the conversation going and he told me he wanted me to meet him. I brushed that off at first, but then he said that he was a street dancer and that Yoongi would be there tomorrow night manning his stereo and he invited me there and I said yes."

"So you're meeting another guy?"

"Well, yes, but that wasn't why I agreed." Ji Eun rolled her eyes.

"Then why did you agree?" Seoyeon inquired.

"I was interested in his dancing. I want to know if he's any good or not."

"His dancing or him?" Seoyeon wiggled her eyebrows.

"I'd be lying if I said it wasn't both but it's mostly the dancing. I can't get close to him."

"And why not? Don't give me that 'I might get hurt crap' he seems like a really good guy."

"They all seem like really good guys." Ji Eun sighed. "Do you want to come with me tonight?"

"What? Why?" Seoyeon was thrown off guard by Ji Eun's question.

"Because I need company while I watch him dance."

"I'll feel like I'm invading."

"I'll text him and ask if it's okay. He won't care, I promise."

Seoyeon sat for a moment in thought, "Fine." She smiled a bit. "Maybe this Yoongi guy will be cute and I'll get something out of this."

Ji Eun laughed at her friend loudly. "Maybe."
