Ji Eun sat on her bed staring at her laptop in frustration. She had an assignment that was due tomorrow. She hated when the professors made due dates on Sunday. Ji Eun wasn't a bad procrastinator but it was also still a word that you could use to describe her. She was actually done with the assignment, she had competed it last night, but she needed it to be perfect.

She sighed and laid back onto the headboard of her bed. "I think I need to take a break," she mumbled as she rubbed Picasso's head. His response only being a small meow.

Ji Eun picked her phone up from her bedside table and turned it back on. She had turned it off to ensure that she would stay focused on her work. A picture of Picasso laying down on Ji Eun's bedroom floor in a ray of sun appeared on the screen and a moment later a message dinged.

[HOSEOK 12:37PM]

Hey would you like to get lunch or just hang out if you've already eaten?

The moment Ji Eun saw the message pop up she swiped the screen to open it and respond. Ji Eun didn't want to tell him no but she knew she would have to, it's been about 15 minutes since he sent the message. Ji Eun did want to hang out with Hoseok but it's the middle of the day the sun is at its highest.

Ji Eun looked over to her window and saw the little bit of sunlight seeping out from behind her black out curtains. That's when she remembered what Seoyeon had said, she could just invite him over to her home. That is if he still wants to hang out with her.

[JI EUN 12:58PM]

Sorry I had my phone turned off. I have some homework I need to get finished up, but if you are okay with it you could just come to my house...?

The instant Ji Eun hit send a huge knot formed in the pit of her stomach. She couldn't believe that she had really just done that, she had invited him to her house. Then it hit her. Her mother would be home at 2 o'clock and if Hoseok came he would probably not be gone by then, which means her mother would meet Hoseok. Ji Eun had been trying to avoid that very thing since she went to see Hoseok dance almost a month ago. The only thought going through Ji Eun's mind now was: What have I done?

[HOSEOK 1:08PM]

Oh, really? Yeah that sounds great. Maybe I could help you even :)

There was no going back now. He was coming. He is probably grabbing his keys right now about to walk out the door. Ji Eun's mother was going to meet Hoseok and she was going to love him.

"Hey, Ji Eun. It's nice to see you." Hoseok smiled as he stepped passed the threshold into Ji Eun's home.

"Yeah, you too." Ji Eun answered as she shut the door. "We can just go into the living room." She pointed toward the couch. Hoseok nodded and made his way toward a place to sit.

"This is a really nice house."

"Thanks. My mom tries her hardest to keep it fairly clean." Ji Eun grabbed her laptop and put it on her lap.

"What are you working on?" Hoseok asked as he changed seats and came by Ji Eun to get a closer look at the laptop's screen.

"I have to have a neat, eye-catching, well-made power point presentation made. I actually have it completed I just want to make sure that its as perfect as I can make it." Ji Eun angled the screen in Hoseok's direction.

"Oh okay, well I can tell you now that you did great making it eye-catching. "Can I take a closer look at it?" Hoseok gestured to the laptop and looked at Ji Eun for permission, she nodded and handed him the laptop.

Hoseok sat looking through each slide of Ji Eun's power point for a couple minutes. He finally reached the end, nodded, then looked at Ji Eun. "Could I give you some advice on some places?"

"Yes, of course!"

"Maybe make the descriptions more brief on the actual slideshow, it seems a little wordy in places. Like right here." He pointed to a certain spot on the screen.

"Okay, that's a great idea, thank you so much."

"Yeah, I look at stuff like this at work a lot so." He shrugged.

"What is your actual job there?"

"I work in sales, it's not the ideal but it pays." He laughed.

"Really? What's the ideal then?"

Hoseok was about to speak when the front door opened and a voice broke the air, "Ji Eun, I'm home. Come help me with these groceries."

Ji Eun quickly stood and looked at Hoseok. "That's my mom, sorry."

Hoseok stood too. "That's alright, let's go help her with the groceries." He smiled and walked over to the front door. Ji Eun stood dumbfounded for a few moments before she too went to grab groceries.

"Here let me help you Mrs. Lee." Hoseok grabbed a couple bags from the older woman and smiled.

"Oh, um thank you." She looked over to her daughter. "Ji Eun who is this fine young man?"

"Ho-Hoseok." Ji Eun stuttered and grabbed the remaining bags in her mother's hands.

"Hoseok?" She then turned to said man, "Well, it's nice to meet you, young man."

"The pleasure is mine, Mrs. Lee. I would shake your hand but.." He trailed off and laughed.

"Oh yes, let's go put these away. It's miss, by the way, but you can call be Eun Ae." Eun Ae said as she lead the way to the kitchen.

After putting away the groceries and having a few more small conversations with Hoseok Ji Eun's mother made her way to her room giving her daughter the 'we need to talk later' look.

"Your mother is great." Hoseok smiled as he sat back down.

"Yeah, she's an amazing woman."

"If it's not crossing a line, can I ask what happened to your dad?"

"He's not here. You were about to tell me about what your "ideal" was before my mother came, what is it?" Ji Eun quickly changed the subject, which did not go unnoticed by Hoseok. He didn't question her though and went along with the subject change.

"My ideal is owning a dance academy but somehow making it cheaper so kids with struggling parents can still come if they want." He smiled. Ji Eun could see a gleam in his eyes, the gleam made his words feel even more real. Any person would be able to tell how passionate Hoseok was about this idea.

"That's so sweet. Why haven't you done it yet?"

"The reasons on why not seems to never end, actually, but the biggest reason is I don't have the money for it. I am saving though, so I hope to be able to do it someday."

"If you keep at it, I'm sure that you will be able to achieve the dream, even if it's a little later in the future."

"Thanks, I needed to hear that. Sometimes I think that I just need to forget about it because it seems so unattainable." He laughs.

"No, don't do that. If you believe in something you shouldn't give up on it and I can see the passion you have for this when you talk about it."

"Yeah, I know I shouldn't, that's why I haven't given up quite yet. Do you have any dreams, Ji Eun?"

Ji Eun only shrugged, "I don't know, maybe."

"Everyone has something that they dream of, come on." Hoseok bumped his shoulder with hers.

"Maybe just a good job in business."

The thing was Ji Eun did have a dream she just didn't want to tell him. She wanted him to know things about her but she didn't want him knowing too much. As much as she wanted him to be in her life, she was still scared of him leaving. Ji Eun's dream was to own a company or maybe just a small business, she didn't know what kind of business she just knew she wanted to be able to say she owned one and that her college education hadn't gone to waste.
