"So, tell me, my dear best friend Ji Eun. WHat happened?" Seoyeon wiggled her eyebrows.
"We talked and were all good now. We are going on a date tonight."
"That's it? Really?"
"Well..." Ji Eun drew out the word.
"Well?!" Seoyeon looked at her friend expectantly.
"I may have kissed him." Ji Eun picked at a piece of fuzz on her comforter.
"What?! Really?! Oh my gosh this is great!"
"He also may have said he loves me."
Seoyeon instantly stopped freaking out and stared at Ji Eun. "He said he loves you? What did you say back?"
"Nothing. I just kissed him. He apologized for saying it and I told him to not be sorry and then I kissed him."
'Do...you feel the same way?" Seoyeon asked cautiously.
Ji Eun stayed quiet for a moment. This had been a thought she has had floating through her mind all night. She had decided that she definitely liked him a lot. If she could just learn to be completely honest with herself, she would be able to say she did love him without any problem. Only she did have a problem: fear, but she has already done so many scary things in the last day. Why not do one more?
"I do, I really really do Seoyeon."
"Then why didn't you tell him."
"I, just, I was scared and the thought of saying those words terrified me but I have already done a lot of scary things for him. I can do one more."
"That's the spirit." Seoyeon smiled and patted Ji Eun's shoulder. "Now, we need to get you ready for this date."
"It's only one in the afternoon, Seoyeon. He isn't picking me up until seven."
"And getting ready takes time. Now go get in the shower, while I find an outfit for you."
It's 6:30 now and as it turned out getting does take quite a lot of time when Seoyeon is involved because she was only just now finishing up Ji Eun's make up.
"Are you almost done?" Ji Eun questioned. "Because Hobi will be here soon he's usually early."
"Yes I am almost done Ji Eun, calm down."
The make-up ended up taking ten more minutes and right as Seoyeon exclaimed, "Finished!" the doorbell rang indicating that Hoseok was there.
Ji Eun quickly put on her shoes and made her way downstairs to see Hoseok already inside talking with her mother. She smiled at them as she made her way down the rest of the steps.
"Ji Eun," Hoseok smiled at her, "you look amazing. I know I'm a little early but do you want to go ahead and leave?" He glanced over at Eun Ae, after saying this.
"She knew you would be early don't worry." Seoyeon said as she walked down the steps. This statement made both Ji Eun and Hoseok blush.
"I'm ready to leave when you are Hobi." Ji Eun finally spoke.
So, the two made their way out the door after this saying goodbye to Eun Ae and Seoyeon. Both of their faces were still powdered crimson as they walked to Hoseok's car.
The shade didn't disperse completely from Ji Eun's cheeks until the two had almost made it to the restaurant. The car ride there was peaceful and comfortable. The two talked about how each other's day had gone so far. Hoseok was so happy to finally be able to say that he was taking Ji Eun out on an actual date.
