~Roomates~ (Given Up On)

Chapter 5

  America let out a long sigh, "I swear if it was Japan and South Korea who did this.." America said, he knew the two were up to something but he didn't know what exactly. He guessed this was it, and it was probably Japan's plan and South Korea just went along with it. "Why would it be those two?" Russia asked, he knew Japan and South Korea, but not too well. "They're always doing this kind of stuff to me, and they've been up to something lately so I guess this is it." He said, standing up. Russia didn't say anything, just nodding a bit as he looked away from America.

  "Anyways, I'm gonna head out, if you want to come with?" America asked, heading to the door and looking back at Russia. "I'm fine, besides your friends won't like me around" Russia said quietly since he was pretty tired from unpacking and such. America nodded before leaving the dorm, closing and locking the door behind him. He headed to the main lobby area, a few other countries around but he was looking for Japan, South Korea, and Canada since they had plans because they didn't have school today.

  The three found America first and they headed out of the building, Japan looking at America and so was South Korea. "So, you like the surprise?" Japan asked, trying to hold back his laughter, Canada was a bit confused so he looked at America. "He basically hates me, besides, how did you even get the U.N to make me dorm with Russia?" He asked, and South Korea answered before Japan could, "We said that it would be the best way for you to get along." "You got roomed with Russia?" Canada asked, still pretty confused and America just nodded.

  "Well that sure sounds like fun." Canada said sarcastically, he wasn't friends with russia but he also wasn't enemies since they rarely spoke. He did know that America and Russia had some kind of rivalry though, which honestly didn't surprise him since they were both superpowers. "Whatever, I don't want to talk about it." America said as they left the campus.

  The four didn't talk about it for the rest of the day, since it was America's problem to deal with. They went out and ate, stopped by an arcade and South Korea and Japan completely destroyed America and Canada at basically every game. South Korea didn't however beat Japan at any dance game, since he was the best dancer out of the group, probably because of all that K-pop. On their way home America said he wanted to check up on the states since they were gonna head past the house, and once they reached the house the three split from America and headed back to the school.

  America went inside the house, and the house was a complete mess. Nevada was on the couch with California, who was talking about who knows what while Nevada looked like he was about to crash he was so drunk. "What happened here, I leave for not even a day and you guys trash the place." America said, shocked. "Oh yeah, Rhode Island is kind of letting everyone do whatever, this mess is Florida's fault." California said, Nevada being completely spaced out and not even knowing where he was probably.

  "Well help me clean this place up." America said, pulling California up and he was about to pull Nevada up but he decided not to, since Nevada wasn't the best when he was drunk. Him and California cleaned up the house, and eventually Oklahoma and Utah joined in to help. America didn't get to talk to Oklahoma too much, "How have you been, Oklahoma?"

"I'm 10 days Tornado free" Oklahoma said, looking at America.

  "Well...that's good." America said, and once they were done cleaning up he checked up on all the states and explained to Rhode Island he couldn't just let the states do whatever they wanted. After that he said goodbye to everyone after taking Nevada to his shared room with Arizona, California, and Utah since he had passed out.

  He headed back to the school and got back to the dorm pretty late. He slowly opened the door and came inside, not wanting to wake Russia, but was surprised to see Russia still awake and on his phone. He stayed quiet, heading into the bathroom to change before coming back out and laying down on his bed. He couldn't help but feel awkward, but tried his best to go to sleep already, but that seemed like it would be impossible so he just took some sleeping pills.

  As he waited for them to kick in, he decided to why not try to talk to Russia? I mean, they were rooming together so they should have a good relationship. "Hey, Russia?" He said, sitting up a bit, "What is it..." Russia asked, not looking up from his phone. America thought for a moment, "You wanna maybe do something together tomorrow? After school of course. Likeeee we could go roller skating or bowling, that's always fun. Oh, and it would just be us since you said it would be awkward if you came with my friends and such."

  Russia thought for a second, looking up at America after turning off his phone. "Sure" he said quietly.

Sorry for being gone for awhile, I've just been rotting in bed the past couple of days.
