Over the next few months (I'm kind of lazy if you can't tell), America was spending more and more time with Russia then with South Korea, Japan, and Canada. Whenever the three would go out and America wouldn't show up they would always theorize what him and Russia were doing, just for fun mostly, but it was always between South Korea and Japan since Canada felt a bit uncomfortable talking about it.

One day however, America did come go out with them and they just went and hung out at a cafe. They were all talking but America, which was a bit weird since America could go on for hours about basically anything. Pouring milk before cereal? He's got an opinion. The color blue? He's got an opinion. What breed of cat is the best? He's got an opinion. Thats why they found it weird when America wasn't saying anything as he drank his coffee and just kind of staring out of the window at the snow that was falling.

Canada and Japan tried to snap him out of it but it didn't really work, until South Korea who was sitting next to America shook him out of his daze. America snapped out of it, jumping in surprise at being shook, "Shoot- sorry...I wasn't really paying attention..." He said, "Yeah we could tell" Canada said, taking a sip of his coffee. "Whats up with you America? You're not usually this quiet..." South Korea said, crossing his arms as he drank his soda.

America thought for a second, he didn't really know what was up with himself, his chest has been feeling pretty tight the last few weeks and he didn't know why. "I dont know honestly, I've just been feeling kind of weird and I don't know why..." America mumbled, and suddenly a smirk came across Japans face.

"Is it a boy~?" Japan teased, making America's face go a bright red and he immediately yelled, "What?! N-No! It's not!" America said, trying to hide his red face from the three. "Ooohhh it totally is, alright South Korea," Japan said, the smirk never leaving his face as he turned to South Korea, "it's time to guess who America has a crush on, how much you wanna bet?" Japan asked, and South Korea thought for a second and they decided on 1000 yen, and so it began.

"Maybe it's one of the states" South Korea said

"Take this seriously South Korea" Japan huffed.

"Maybe it's Iceland then." South Korea answered.

Japan shook his head, before saying, "I think it's Russia." South Korea thought for a second before nodding, "Yeah, I could see that, after all the two are always together." Canada was starting to get bothered with South Korea and Japan always trying to push his brother in a relationship with Russia, like, what if Russia didn't like America back? "Well, America, is it Russia?" Japan teased, looking at America whose head was buried in his arms he was so embarrassed. He got a text message and he looked at it, seeing it was from Russia asking if they were ever gonna get this project Sweden assigned them done. America was saved. He quickly stood up, chugging his coffee before slamming it down, making Canada jump. "I gotta go" he said, putting his scarf and coat on before quickly leaving.

Russia was currently in his room, looking through the project they had 2 weeks to complete, but the deadline was in two days and him and America had only talked about what they PLANNED to do. The American was a terrible procrastinator, and whenever Russia said they should get started on it, America would just whine and say he was sick or had a headache or...whatever excuse he could come up with.

Russia was waiting for a text back from the American as he sat on the floor with his laptop out in front of him, and he got a text back saying that America was on his way, and he apologized for not having gotten the project done sooner. Russia rolled his eyes, surprised that America was finished with his friends so soon, he's only been gone for like, an hour.

He soon heard the front door open and saw America come in, taking his coat and scarf off. "God it's cold out there, I don't see how the states do it, or you Russia" America said, looking at Russia as he went over to their little kitchen area and started to make hot chocolate. "I'm just used to it..." Russia said, shrugging a little, when he lived with his siblings and his dad, the house was always pretty cold and they couldn't do anything about it.

Once the hot chocolate was ready, America went and sat down next to Russia, handing him a hot chocolate before pulling a blanket down from the bed behind them, and wrapping it around the two of them. Russia didn't really mind them being so close as he drank his hot chocolate. They began to work on their project, Russia doing basically all of the work, but America was helping out with making it look nice and making sure it was organized.

They probably worked on the project until almost midnight before the two of them fell asleep next to each other, Russia kind of laying against America and America's head on Russia's shoulder.
