America was the first of the two to wake up, and luckily last night they got the project done, which America was relieved, because in all honesty, he was way too tired last night and couldn't remember a whole lot. He sat there for a second, really confused as to why he was so warm, until he realized that he was still with Russia, which made his face turn into a bright red. They had moved to Russia's bed, and Russia was still asleep. America assumed that Russia had woken up last night, and just kind of moved them into a bed to be more comfortable.

Many thoughts were going through America's head, but he tried his best to ignore them and pushed them to the back of his head. He slowly got up, making sure not to wake Russia and looked at the time. Luckily they weren't going to miss classes, and it was actually pretty close to when they had to leave. America let out a long sigh, cleaning up a little before getting changed and getting ready.

The American had a hard time waking up the Russian, he tried clapping, shaking him, slapping him, anything he could think of but it wasn't working. America, losing his patience grabbed a water bottle and poured the water onto Russia, which did make him wake up, but now the sheets are wet. "Wh- what the hell America?" Russia asked, too tired to be angry as he sat up, soaked. "We gotta get to school soon, and you weren't waking up, so I had to use water to wake you up" America explained, setting the bottle down.

"There wasn't any water in that bottle, it was Vodka you idiot-" Russia said, more mad about his wasted vodka then the wet sheets. America wasn't too surprised, rolling his eyes "Just...get up" He said, before leaving since he was already ready, and he couldn't be late to anymore classes so he would be early for once.

On his way to the school, he ran into Greenland, and so they walked together and talked along the way, enjoying the nice conversation even though Greenland was closer to Canada then America.

"Hey America?" Greenland said, looking at the taller country and stopping, America stopping along with him. "Yeah? What is it?" The American asked, raising his eyebrow. Greenland was quiet for awhile, "I felt more comfortable asking you then anyone else, since Japan would take advantage of it along with South Korea but..." He paused.

"How do I ask Iceland out?" Asked the smaller country.

America almost choked, he knew they both liked each other, but the other had no idea but he wasn't expecting Greenland to come to him about it. It kind of warmed his heart...not many people trusted or liked America besides his family and friends. He had to focus though, Greenland just asked a serious question. So he thought for a second.

"Well, maybe next time you see him, ask him to meet you after school or meet you somewhere, and then ask him if he wants to get coffee sometime or to maybe go ice skating, I know he likes that." America said, he wasn't the best with love advice, but he did try his hardest. Greenland thought for a second before they started walking again. "But what if he doesn't want to or like me back?" Greenland asked, looking down at his feet as he spoke to the American. "Trust me, he'll like you back" America said, patting Greenlands back as they got to the main building.

"Well, tell me how it goes Greenland." America said, starting to head to class as Greenland nodded his head.

God how he wished he could take his own advice. He's liked people before, but he never asked them out because he was either too nervous or...busy with other things. Thinking about the...'other things' always gave America a small panic attack, so he would try to shove it as far back into his head as possible, but it mostly never worked. He was thinking about it, and stopped in the hallway to calm himself down, and thankfully shoving it back helped.

That time in his life was awful, but it must have been worse for say, Poland, who literally got torn in half. America sighed, and kept on walking and throughout the day he tried not to remember that time.

The day was normal, aka boring as America went to each class. Well, not all the classes were boring, Irelands class and Swedens class were always loud and colorful, kept you engaged in the lesson. Swedens because he was open about his life and was able to make actual jokes and not make them cringey, and Ireland because whenever he showed up drunk it was always entertaining since he was the english teacher, and he would trip over his words.

At the end of the day, he ran into Russia outside the school. "Im surprised you got up" America said, chuckling a bit. "Yeah yeah, I slept through most of the classes though..." The Russian mumbled, still pretty tired for some reason, but America didn't want to question it, especially in public.

"Hey uh, Russia?" He said, and the Russian looked up at him with a questioning look. America thought for a second, he didn't know if he had feelings for the other or not, so he wasn't going to ask him out. "My families going to have a christmas party over winter break if you want to come, unless you're doing stuff with your family..." America said, Russia shaking his head "Most of my siblings are most likely going to christmas parties, and I was planning to stay home...but..." Russia paused, looking back down.

"Sure."
