Chapter 13: Our Place

Thomas' POV

I laid alone on the couch, pretending to be asleep as Lafayette and Hercules went out. Hercules had asked me if I'd known of any semi-romantic looking places that weren't too obvious.

I told him, "our place."

He seemed to generally understand what I was saying.

"I don't know, are you sure? That was your place with Alex."

I smiled,

"Yeah, I'm sure. You know why?"

"Why?" Hercules asked.

"Because that place is filled with good memories of Alex, yeah that's true. But that place wasn't meant for me and him. Before I even found Alexander again, it was my place."

I continued.

"Now I can finally call that your place and think of all the wonderful things you're going to say to Lafayette tonight." I had said.

I had meant every word.

Now when I think of that place I don't just think of bittersweet moments, I also think of the day my brother got proposed to.

It's no longer just my place, it's everyone's.

I shook myself from my daydreams to see the newly engaged couple working on preparations for the party. Lafayette paused for a moment to admire his ring, and then went on decorating.

They really were a cute couple.

"You think so? I think they're really cute!" Peggy said, appearing out of nowhere.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!" I screamed, startled by her sudden appearance. "When did you get here?"

Peggy thought for a moment.

"Oh, RIGHT!!!" She looked through her bag and pulled out a white pamphlet that was....completely blank.

Peggy: That's because he doesn't have access to the script! Only I have that ability. Well the author does too!
