Chloe kept her promise and met with Beca the following day with pizza and Beca was able to help Chloe come up with an original song for her music assignment. Thankfully, Chloe had been given several weeks to come up with an original song, which allowed her to see Beca every day in the music building. The two girls got on like a house on fire. They got to know each other more and more each day that passed. They had a lot of similarities and a lot of differences and they were both surprised by how well they got on with one another since they were total opposites but they believed that's why they were drawn to each other. There was something about Beca's witty attitude, smart mouth, and badass persona that drove Chloe crazy and there was something about Chloe's bright and bubbly nature and optimistic attitude that encapsulated Beca and left her wanting more.

The feelings were odd and unusual but they eventually figured out what it was - they both developed feelings for each other. Beca thought it was crazy since she hadn't known Chloe very long but the redhead was constantly on her mind and she couldn't think about anyone or anything else. Her mind was always on Chloe and vice versa. Their favourite part of the day was late in the afternoon when they met. They spent hours together, both working on assignments and getting to know each other. They had a habit of mucking around and bludging when they really needed to do their work but they were far too invested in each other than anything else.

One day, after Beca plucked up enough courage, she asked Chloe out on a date. Chloe said yes but requested that they have it in the music room where they met to be romantic. The request was a little odd to Beca but she didn't complain - she scored a date with her crush so she was going to do whatever the redhead wanted. As planned, the two of them met up in the music room, which Beca changed to be more romantic with flowers, candles, and music. Beca hated romance but Chloe had done something to her and Beca both hated it and loved it. She was an absolute sucker for Chloe and whatever Chloe wanted, Beca did. Chloe found it extremely endearing and it only made her fall harder and harder for the tiny brunette. Their date went so well it ended with a kiss, which sparked higher and more intense feelings for both girls.

After that, they had a few more dates, all of which were in the music room. Beca wanted to venture out of the music room but Chloe always wanted to stay there, claiming that it was their special place. Beca thought it was odd but she didn't question the redhead, she just enjoyed spending time with her and that's all that mattered. Before they knew it, the girls had been seeing one other for nearly a month and they were crazy about each other. Even though they mucked around a lot, they did manage to work on Chloe's music assignment and get it done. Chloe was happy with it and so was Beca and the brunette couldn't wait to see what Chloe would get as her grade.

One day, Beca was waiting in the music suite for Chloe and she was quite nervous. The brunette had written an original song of her own that was dedicated to Chloe. The redhead had impacted Beca more than words could have described. There was something different about Chloe and Beca only had eyes for the girl and vice versa. Beca was anxious about playing the song for Chloe because Beca was also planning to ask Chloe to be her girlfriend. They had a few dates but Beca wanted to take the next step and make things official. The mere thought of it made Beca all kinds of nervous but she knew what she wanted and she wanted Chloe to be hers.

Just as Beca was calming her nerves, the door opened and Beca spun around to greet the redhead but to her surprise, it wasn't Chloe. It was her friend Stacie. The two had been friends since the start of the college year and they used to flirt with one another from time to time as well but as soon as Beca met Chloe, she stopped it and it didn't really sit well with Stacie. Stacie was a beautiful young woman with long, brown hair and legs that went all the way up, not to mention her boobs that were the size of basketballs. She had the ability to turn every straight woman gay and every gay man straight. She was definitely the envy of a lot of girls around campus but she didn't want them, she wanted Beca but it was clear that Beca didn't want her.

"Oh, Stacie," Beca said. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you."

"Oh... Um, okay."

"What are you doing?"

"Um, just doing some work."

"Oh? Like what?" Stacie sauntered over to Beca and slipped her hands around Beca's waist.

"Just some music homework," Beca answered, pulling Stacie's hands off her.

"Just some music homework before you meet with the redhead?"

"Huh?" Beca frowned.

"Oh, come on, Beca. Don't play coy with me. I know what you get up to this time of the day. I'm not stupid."

"I... I didn't say you were..."

"You've been avoiding me and now I know why..." Stacie moved closer to the alt-girl.

Beca stepped back but was stopped by the piano that was behind her.

"Do you really think she can do the things I can do?" Stacie purred, sliding her hands up Beca's chest.

"Stacie, I-"

"Shh..." Stacie pressed her finger to Beca's lips. "The only words I want to hear is you screaming my name..."

"Stacie-" Beca was cut off when Stacie lunged forward and put her lips on Beca's.

Beca's eyes nearly popped out of her head when Stacie kissed her. Stacie wrapped her arms around Beca and pulled her closer, trying to deepen the kiss but it was broken when they heard a gasp coming from the door.

"Shit," Beca hissed, seeing Chloe standing in the doorframe with glassy eyes. "Chlo-"

"Don't, Beca!" Chloe turned on her heel and ran off.

"Shit! Chloe, no!" Beca pushed Stacie off of her as she ran after Chloe. "Chloe, stop!" Beca called out but Chloe kept running.

Beca tried her best to keep up with the redhead but the girl was too fast and she left the building before Beca could catch her. Beca burst through the large double doors of the music building but stopped when she failed to find Chloe.

"What the...?" Beca looked around but there was no sign of Chloe - there was no sign of anybody.

The area was empty and Chloe was nowhere to be found.

"Chloe?" Beca called out but she got no answer.

She quickly searched around the building for the girl but she couldn't find her, leaving Beca perplexed and speechless. Where did she go?
