Three weeks later...

"Hey baby, I got all your junk food." Adisa placed the full bag of snacks and candy on the bedside table. Destiny was in bed groaning in pain, she was having her monthly and her cramps were bad.

"You got my chocolate too right?" She sat up.

"Yup. I ain't wanna lose my head so I made sure I got it." Adisa laughed laying next to her rubbing her tummy.

"Thanks baby." They kissed and Destiny dug into her bag of snacks. It was all she could eat right now.

"So what you gonna do about this chick?" He was referring to the situation with Makayla. If she didn't drop the charges, Destiny was set to go to court in a week or so and she didn't know what to expect. It all made her even more pissed at Travis because all this was his fault anyway.

Destiny sighed. "I really don't know because I know her evil ass won't drop the charges."

"Hmm, something will work out baby." Soon after you could hear Bella's cries from her room. Destiny was getting up for her but Adisa stopped her. "Imma get her. Get your rest."

Adisa got Bella and took her downstairs to make her a bottle. He was spending the night there for the past two weeks and Bella grew on him and he the same for her. He knew how important Bella was to Destiny so she was to him too. He wasn't trying to take Travis' place or nothing that was just how much he loved Destiny.

He also was thinking of something he could do about this situation with her and Travis' hoe. He knew it was just a petty situation and he was gonna handle it somehow.

The guys were in the locker room preparing for practice. Adisa walked in and saw Travis putting on his shoes. He walked up to him and Travis looked up him annoyed. "Nigga what you on my face for?"

Adisa smacked his lips. "Look I ain't here to fight with you. I'm here about Destiny."

Travis and Destiny only spoke about Bella and that was it. Not that he was happy about her moving on with Adisa of all people but he had no choice but to respect her, for now.

"What about Destiny?"

"This thing with her and Makayla. You got the power to change this shit and stop her from possibly going down for it."

Travis got up and put on a shirt. "Look I ain't wanna see her in that position either but How imma stop it?"

"Talk to Makayla, get her to drop the charges." Adisa said in a duhh tone.

"Imma think about it."

"What you mean you gonna think about it? Nigga that's the mother of yo child. You gonna put one of yo lil back seat hoes over her?"

"Aye watch yo mouth." Travis got in his face.

Adisa was tired fighting him so he just shook his head and walked off. He got changed and went out to the court.

Makayla rode Travis until they both came. Their heavy breathing was all you could hear in the room as they laid back together. To Makayla her and Travis were together and she was pleased but for Travis he wasn't looking for anything with her because his plan was still to win back Destiny somehow.

"What's on your mind babe?" She laid on his chest. She saw the look he had on his face. "You didn't seem like you were into it tonight."

"I'm good." Travis was thinking about asking her to drop these charges. He knew Makayla was gonna tough and not want to but he had to try. "So about this thing with you and Destiny.."

Makayla got up and looked at him. "What about it Travis?" She gave him a skeptical look.

"You gonna Have to drop these charges."

Makayla got upset about him asking her to do that. "Why should I? She almost killed me and now you wanna ask me to drop some charges?" Makayla got off him. "No."

"But I ain't asking Makayla. She the mother of my child and I ain't bout to watch her go down for yo petty shit. Plus ain't nobody told you to confront her anyway."

She shook her head in disbelief. "So you don't care about what she did to me?" She looked back at him and he had a blank expression on his face. Honestly he didn't care if Destiny had killed her that day either way.

"Look, she got my daughter to take care of so I don't want you messing that up."

"Your daughter could live here with us."

Travis shot her a angry look and wondered if she was crazy. "Hell no. Bella needs her mom aight? So do what you gotta do to fix this."

"No. I won't." Makayla wasn't changing her mind.

Travis got and got dressed. "Aight then, I'm out." He walked out of the room.

Makayla got up and went after him. "Where you going?" She stepped in front of him and the door.

"You ain't doing what I asked so I'm out."

Makayla sighed. She didn't want him to go, honestly Makayla liked the money and status Travis had made for himself so she couldn't let that go. "Fine, I'll drop the charges." She mumbled and walked back to her bedroom.

Travis smirked knowing that's what was going to happen anyway. He took his phone and called Destiny. "Tell ya boy it's handled." He hung up before she said anything else and went back to the room with Makayla.
