Destiny and her best friend TeMar were walking through their favorite clothing store just talking, mainly catching up on their week and of course TeMar was filling her in on the latest tea. He was worse than the celebrity blog sites.
TeMar and Destiny were inseparable since high school. The day they met, Destiny had defended him when some guys were in his face about him being different. Of course TeMar could defend himself without a problem, but Destiny just had to say something. It was just who she was.
"You think he cheating?" TeMar flipped through the clothes on the rack, taking out a few and assessing them. He scrunched his face up at the mustard colored shirt before putting the shirt back.
Destiny sighed as she checked out a pair of shoes. "I don't know, since the other night I been having that feeling but I'm trying to trust him."
"Well as I always say, Trust but verify. Yeah you wanna trust him but check his shit still. Too many STDs floating around to be playing like that." He said putting back yet another shirt he found ugly. "Girl you getting soft." He waved her off as he spoke.
"I'm not soft." Destiny stopped and looked at him.
"Yes you are boo. The Destiny back then would beat that ass and left him on the spot after the first affair, now you just taking shit left right and center. Like boss up bitch."
Destiny sucked her teeth. "I have a child now to think about so I can't just act out like that."
He gave her a look but didn't bother to speak more on it. "Mmhm, whatever." TeMar waved her off and continued to go through the store. He kept it real with Destiny on the things that was happening and he never hid his mouth or his feelings. He didn't want his girl to be walking around looking stupid over some nigga but still it was her choice to stay. He was just tired of it at this point.

*"Aight, Imma come by later." Travis sat on the couch surfing through the channels on the tv.
"Good, I have a little something for you." Makayla seductively said to him over the phone.
Travis smirked. "Is that right?" He said interested in what she had to say.
"Yes, so get here s-" Before Makayla finished her sentence, Travis quickly ended the call, cutting her off when he heard the door open. He got up and saw Destiny coming in with Bella.
"There go my Queen and my lil princess." He smiled and kissed Destiny then took Bella from her and tickled her which made her start to giggle. Bella was always a daddy's girl.
"Hey you, why you home from practice so early?" Destiny said as she took the shopping bags upstairs as Travis followed her holding Bella.
"So I can't come home early to be with my two girls? What? You was planning on bringing somebody else up in here?" He raised his eyebrow.
Destiny turned around and laughed. "Really Travis? And so what if I did?" Destiny raised her eyebrow giving him attitude, testing him.
Travis wasn't concerned though. He knew Destiny would never do that to him. "Girl stop playing. You can't have no other nigga."
