I simply looked at Avi for a moment. Expressing my feelings here is hard. For I don't know how to do much except stand and look at the floor. So I did what I could do. I hugged him. Burring my head into his chest as salty tears slipped from my eyes. Avi didn't hesitate by wrapping his arms around my small body and to my complete udder surprise. He placed a kiss in my hair. I looked up and met his gaze. His face was solum and sweet. Perfect. Is what I choose to call him. A small smile spread over his lips and mine as well. "Do you want something to eat?" I looked over at the food. Almost wanting to refuse it. But then I remembered. I'm not with John anymore. I'm with a real man. I awkwardly shuffled over, scared of the outcome, and out of just being polite, pulled two out of the box and handed them to Avi. He thanked me sweetly, by pulling me out two tacos, which I gradually took from his hands with only a thank you to him. And a thank you to God for answering my prayer.
We sat there for an hour or so. Just talking to each other like normal people. Ignoring the fact of what happened today. There was no reason to bring it up now. We were happy. I would have to explain this to them tomorrow. I know that much. To there's, and my own surprise I didn't scarf the food down like a wild animal. But I did eat 8 hard tacos. I even laughed quiet a lot over the fact that my stomach had started bulging because I had actually had a descent meal over the years. When we were finished I noticed how tired the boys were. And me myself, so I picked up the trash and easily threw it in the trash. The boys did don't protest to it, seeing that I was just doing it out of being polite. I stood and looked at Avi who was now the only one standing in the room. Kevin's door soundlessly shutting behind him. I looked at the couch. Seeing that when Avi said I could sleep with him I only saw it as a joke. But Avi didn't. For he smiled kindly and took my hand, leading me to his room and shutting the door behind him. He quietly climbed into bed and patted the place beside him.
I've never slept so well.
