We stood in front of my mothers log cabin like home. The sun was beginning to set, and the lights of the porch gave the home a Carmel like color that made me smile. The sent of pumpkin spice wafted up my nose, bringing good memories of my home back into my life. It was all but a large agreement that we would spend two weeks here before leaving. The fifteen acre land was all owned by my mother. Her being a doctor had it's benefits.

I felt Avi's cool hand press against my back as, sending shivers down my spine as he rubbed it soothingly. I looked up at him and smiled, making him do the same. "Oh I love this place." Mitch all but gushed as we walked inside. It was large. Marble counters lining the kitchen, the simple tan couches surrounding the fire place, the flat screen hanging above it.

Rooms were already settled. I had to convince my mother to let Avi share the same room with me. If I said, "mom let Avi sleep with me." She would have thrown a fit. Mitch, Kirstie and Scott claimed the living room, wanting to have as much movie nights as possible, while Kevin had his own room. He simply snapped his fingers and danced as he walking in there. A smile upon his face. I drug my bags to my rock and placed my things in there old dresser. The place seemed to have not changed at all. The plane red blankets and silver sheets. The wooden dresser and body length mirror leaning against the wall.

Avi hugged me from behind. His arms wrapping around me in a sweet angle as his lips trailed down to my shoulder. As he worked I closed my eyes. Relishing the moment. But it was all bit broken as a cough sounded outside the door. "If you to are going to be doing that than at leased shut the door." I turned, and to my horror saw my mother standing there. Her eyes taut and arms hanging off her hips.
