Thirty five

I don't know how long I ran. But I did. My feet zigzagged through the twisted streets, not stopping for anything. I noticed how the sun had began to set and my senses kicked back in as I stopped in the middle of a random park and I rested in a wooden gazebo. Recognition sparked my memory of is being here the first day we arrived. Us all sitting and laughing about everything one of us said. I smiled at the memory. But what had just happened made tears escape my eyes.

I found myself back in front of the bus. It seamed vacant and quiet, quickly I entered as rain began to hit the ground. I flicked on the lights, but the back light was on. Indicating that someone was indeed here.

Gulping down a wad of pride I slowly walked back there to see Avi sitting there. His hands over his face, and hair riddled. "Were ware the others?" I ask quietly. Without moving Avi grumbled, "I asked them to leave. Go have fun, because I knew when you got back then we were probably going to have a heated argument." I sighed and stood were I was. Waiting for him to blow up.

"Why did you leave?" He asks finally and stood where he was. I didn't answer. "Why did you leave?" He asks again, his voice raising now. "To the park." I answer simply. Avi looks at me now. His eyes angry slightly. "why did you leave?" I looked at him. Anger seething from my pores now. "Because I can, Avriel." I hiss. My voice filled with venom. Avi looked up at me through his hands. "It's not my fault I'm frustrated, Charlie!" "I never said it was!" I snap back. My eyes hard an lips pressed once again into a thin line.

"Then why are you getting mad at me!?" "Because you think I'm a sulking, crying, baby! Which I am not. I was respecting your privacy Avi!"

Avi's stance changes and he quiets his voice. "Come here." He says calmly. "Why?!" I snap. Avi didn't wait. He came walking towards me. Taking me in his arms and molding his lips to mine.
