We chose to movie into the same apartment that the rest of the crew lived in. Just until the threat of John was over, which could be years.

"That's the last of it." I smile as I stacked our clothes in the walk in closet. Avi stood behind me with a wide smile. Pride in his face over our new apartment. I stood up and stretched my back, it popping slightly as I walked bast Avi who followed me into the kitchen with a giddy smile. "Barbecue wings?" I ask as I begin to pull out the necessities to cook the meal. I felt Avi's chest rumble against my back as he wrapped his arms around my waist. His grown out beard scratching my neck as he kissed me sweetly. "I will unpack our clothes tomorrow, then I'll arrange the living room while your at your Pentatonix meeting." "You sure you don't want to come sweetheart?" "It's not that I don't want to," I laugh after loading the stove. "But if I don't get it unpacked, I sure as heck know you won't do it lazy." I said pinching his nose. Avi snorted and kissed my lips. "Whatever overachiever." He chuckled.

---

"Call me if you need anything." Avi said as he walked out the door. But the door didn't close. I looked up from my box to see Avi staring at me. His lips stretched into a smile. "I love you Charlie."

"I love you to Avriel."

I placed avi's last pare of boxers in a dresser drawer. My brow crossed and lips pressed into a thin line. It's only been an hour and I have everything arranged and placed. The house smelt of pumpkin spice and reminded me of home. I smiled at my job an walked out if our shared bedroom to see something off. The door was open. I stood still for a moment. Waiting for any sudden movement that indicated a threat. Finding nothing I scurried over to the door and looked out to see no one there. I shut the door. Making sure I didn't lock it just in case there was someone here I didn't want to have to fumble with a lock to her out of the pore house.

I proceeded to walk through the house with a fire pick int hands. Poised and ready to strike. I breathed a sigh of relief to find nothing there, and sat down on the couch. But as soon as I began to relax, my vision erupted into black and red stars. Pain exploding in the side of my head.

Then blackness.
