6. The Cure

In this vast, lonely universe,
Saved by that unrequited love,
Cured by those fleeting, grasp-less emotions,
Calmness after a stormy night,
Brightness that blinds the eyes.
Foresight.

Open your eyes,
Float in formless oceans,
Scream under flashing lights.
You who willingly submitted,
To that drug.
That cure.
Let them soak your soul dry.
Become zombies,
Zombies smiling at those unreal faces,
Whose fake love,
Comforts wandering, crying souls,
Who willingly hold on,
For what else can they do when,
The world only tries to break them,
Break them into pieces.

When no one else was there,
You were there by my side.
Knowing it is unrequited,
Believe in formless reality.
Aren't we just curing ourselves?
