I stand before the building I will be trapped in for the next 6 hours. People have different views of the prison. A place to fall in love, a place to make friends, a place to have fun, some might even think it's a place to learn. For me, it's just somewhere I have to go, it's a place of emotional torcher and physical strain. For me, it's an endurance test. How long can you survive without punching someone in the face? Somehow, I've conquered it for 3 years.

I unwillingly take the first steps into pure hell. I don't have any friends, I always keep my distance. Most people say I have a heart of ice, some say I'm the ice queen. It doesn't bother me, anything they say about me doesn't have any effect on me. I'm used to the bullets of insults. It doesn't hurt me anymore. I trudge my way up to my form room. It's Monday so I'll be sitting in there for an hour. I reach the room -28- and sit down at the back near the window where I always sit. I pull out Divergent from my bag , put my headphones in and start to read. Our teacher never turns up so I can just forget where I am and lose myself in the book. I can't wait until I can leave.

The bell rings through my head, signaling it's time for my first lesson. Double music! Yes! I unplug my headphones and stuff my book in my bag while walking towards the door, but before I reach it, I collide with someone. I stumble to the floor with a heavy thud.

" I'm so sorry, are you okay?"the figure said, holding it's hand out to help me up. I look up at the figure and it's a boy with greyish/whitish hair, amazing icy blue eyes and faint freckles along his eyes that you wouldn't notice unless you are close to him.

" I-I'm fine thanks. Are you new here?" I ask curiously as I take his hand to help me up.

" yeah" he sighed. I was bursting to know everything about him, why he sighed, what school he came from, is his hair natural? But I really love music class and I don't want to get close to anyone.

" oh okay" I say before running off out the classroom and down the stairs.

"Hello class. Who's the new student?" Mrs Ariel asked, the class looks around but there is no new face amongst the crowd. Then, the boy bursts through the door panting.

" sorry miss, I- I got lost" he stuttered.

" that's okay, what's your name?"

" Jack" he says shyly as if he is embarrassed by the name.

" well Jack, go and sit next to Elsa. The girl with white hair" she instructed. I'm glad I'm not her. Wait, I am her. Jack shuffles accross and awkwardly sits next to me, making sure he doesn't make eye-contact with anyone. At least he's not trying to make small talk with me.

" okay, for your next assessment you will write a song and perform it in front of the class. You can either work alone or in a pair for the final assessment but for now, you will brainstorm ideas with your shoulder partner." Miss explains. I've already written the song I'm going to perform so I don't need to brainstorm my ideas. Instead, I start to write it down.

" Jack and Elsa! Why aren't you working?" Miss shouts at us.

" I already know what I'm doing miss" I reply.

" I'm sure Jack doesn't know what he's going to do so you need to help him"

" m-miss I already know what I-I'm going to d-do too" Jack stutters. Why is he always stuttering?

" then share your ideas and explain the meaning of it!" She shouts getting aggravated by our replies. I turn on my seat to face him.

" my songs called let it go. What's yours?" I ask, irritated that I have to share my song with him. He looks up and his eyes lock onto mine.

" umm it's called a-all of me" he shifts his eyes so he's not looking directly at me.

" whats it about?" I ask curiously.

" y-you need to tell me what yours is about first" he says, a tiny bit more confident than before.

" it's about not being afraid of who you are" I reply defiantly.

" oh, c-can I read it?" He asks. I look at him.

" how about I sing it for you?" Damn it. I don't want to sing it for him. Well I do, but I don't.

"S-sure"

" miss, can we go into the practice room?" I ask over the buzz of the classroom.

" yeah, just don't do any funny business" the class erupts into roars of laughter and heat rises to my cheeks. Was that really necessary? I grab Jacks hand and storm out of the room leaving comments and laughter behind me.

" I hate this school" I mutter under my breath as we enter the practice room.

" why?"

" what?"

" why do you hate the school?" He asks, not stuttering anymore.

" it's a long story" I say, plugging the keyboard in ready to sing my heart out.

" well we have an hour and a half"

" I really don't want to talk about it" I push a few keys to test if it's working and I swear Jack hit the roof. " it's only a keyboard it won't bite" I joke.

" oh haha. You could have told me you were going to do that!"

" but then it wouldn't have been funny. Now shut up, I'm going to sing you my song" he nods his head, sits down and stares at me with wide eyes.

" the snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen.........

Let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway" I push the last key and step away from the keyboard. Jack is just staring at me, away in another world.

" Jack? What do you think?" I click my fingers in front of his eyes and he snaps out of his daydream.

" I think that was amazing. It's one of the best songs I've ever heard!" He says.

" Really!?" He nods his head. " thankyou. Now its your turn to sing to me"

" hold on, I didn't agree to sing"

" I sang mine so you can sing yours!" " okay, but I've only written the chorus" he grabs his book from the side and begins to sing.

" 'Cause all of me

Loves all of you

Love your curves and all your edges

All your perfect imperfections

Give your all to me

I'll give my all to you

You're my end and my beginning

Even when I lose I'm winning

'Cause I give you all of me

And you give me all of you," he finishes and places the book on the side. It's beautiful.

" so, do you like it?" He asks.

" like it? I love it!" I exclaim.
