21 ~ Violence

I stand before the building I will be in for the next 6 hours. People have different views of the structure. A place to fall in love, a place to make friends, a place to have fun, some might even think it's a place to learn. For me, it's an endurance test, how long can you survive in the judging eyes of pupils? It seems possible now with Jack by my side.

" are you ready for this?" He asks in concern.

" I was born ready!" I reply light-heartedly. He smiles and we make our way inside, side by side. Groups of people stand huddled together and fall silent as we walk past, some whisper comments like ' is that Elsa? I thought she was dead?' Somehow, disappearing for four months and almost dying makes you the centre of attention. I used to be pushed aside, made invisble and ignored. This sudden burst of popularity is almost overwhelming and I wish I could go back to when no one ever noticed me and left me to myself. But this is the present, there's no going back. This will all pass soon but for now, I'll have to endure it. 

" Elsa babe, I've been so worried about you" Andy runs up to me and leans in, his face way to near mine, I step back but something I wasnt expecting happens.

" get off you pile off shit, she doesnt like you so back off" Jack plucks up pushing Andy hard and stands closely in front of him threatening him. He pushes his shoulders again making him stumble backwards a little.

" she will be mine you just wait and see" Andy smirks.

" Elsa is not an object to be owned" Jack hisses, he steps back and turns around to face me smiling feebly. I can tell he's scared out of his mind, his hands shaking violently.

" I'd certainly love to play with her if you know what I mean" Andy sniggers, elbowing a nearby mate, heat rises to my face in embarressment. I can see the anger bubbling in Jacks eyes as he turns around and punches Andy's nose. A dense red liquid leaks from his nose and trickles down his face.

" Dont you ever talk about her like that again" he spits at him. He turns around and defiantly walking away with me trailing behind.

" Jack wait, what was that? I've never seen you like that before" I ask grabbing his arm stopping him from walking any further.

" I just really hate him" he says. I chuckle rememering when I told him the same about my aunt. That feels like eternities ago.

" why?" I persist.

" because he's a pig and disrespectful and a downright douchebag. Now come on, we're going to be late for form" Jack states, now dragging me along. I get by his side and he lets go off my hand. Would it be weird if I held his hand again? I decide not to.

" welcome back Elsa" miss ariel welcomes warmly. Looks like she didn't go missing after all.

" Thank you miss" I walk over and sit in my usual seat that surprisingly hasn't been taken yet.

" Elsa, do you remember the song you were going to perform?" I nod my head, she's going to make me sing it isn't she? " good, would you care to perform it for us" I take in massive breath and nervously walk to the keyboard. 

"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen. A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen...

Let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway" I sang. I stepped away from the keyboard and turned around to see 29 mouths hanging open. Not one person clapping out of pity or out of awe. Jusy gawping faces.

" well done Elsa, that was magnificent" Miss Ariel complimented. I sheepishly say thankyou and sit back down.

" now for the next project. This is going to be a duet, please get in pairs and then you will choose a song from this hat here and perform it in coming weeks" Miss Ariel explained. I turn my head to look at Jack and we both burst into giggles for no reason. Jack lines up to get a song returning with a slip of paper. He faces me hiding the peice of paper from me.

" Primrose Everdeen" he announces in a posh voice.

" oh haha very funny, what does it actually say?"

" Adore you"

" never heard of it" I grab the piece of paper and sure enough it says 'adore you.' " its by miley cyrus, I'm not exactly a fan of her" I moan. Out of all the songs that we could of got we had to get a miley cyrus song.

" you know what? Neither am I" Jack states.

" we can make it better" I reply trying to make the idea more endurable. He smiles at me and our eyes lock. Not again!

The bell rings and bounces around in my head. I tell you something I haven't missed that!

" umm I'll see you later, I've got a detention" Jack say awkwardly.

" and whats that for?"

" Daydreaming" he replies looking down at the floor. I almost fall over laughing, he got a detentiom for daydreaming.

" well have fun" I snigger and he walks away.

" where's your pathetic boyfriend now huh? No one here to protect you? Poor Anna, all alone" I hear a voice say. Alarm bells ring in my head when I hear it say Anna and I frantically look around to see Whats happening.  " if only there was someone out there who loves you" I spot him, them. Hans! Anna is pressed against a wall holding her shoulders with tears streaming down her delicate face.

" but who would love someone as pathetic as you" he continues to mock. I run up to them, my fists balled ready to punch him but he sees me coming. He grabs my fist and pushes me to the ground, a flurry of snow starts to fall in the hallway.

" E-elsa calm d-down it's o-okay" Anna chokes out. I stand up, anger boiling in my blood. I thrust my hand upwards and icicles shoot out pinning him against the wall. The look on his face is priceless, shocked and bewildred.

" you are the pathetic human being. No one will ever love you, your heart is frozen!" I hiss, slowly melting each icicle.

" then we are alike Elsa" he sneers.

" you are no match for Elsa!" Anna defiantly says with a burst of confidence.  I melt the last icicle and put his neck under my arm, he squirms and resists. I lift my leg and repeatedly kick him in the stomach with my knee.

" Elsa stop, I think thats enough" Anna sighs. I turn around and let go of him. He falls to the floor clutching his stomach, the scene plasters a smile on my face. Seeing him in pain at my feet, it's a sight I've been wanting to see since the day he caused Anna pain. I have no mercy for him and if it wasn't for Anna, I may just have killed him right here in the school corridoor. I glare at him once more and defiantly walk away leaving that thing behind me. I hear teachers running up to him and grunts of pain come from him. I make it to the yard before Anna grabs my arm.

" Elsa, your going to be expelled for that, and now everyone will know about your ability."

" I don't care, let them expell me, let everyone know. He deserved that and I don't regret a thing accept maybe stopping!"

" what Is wrong with you? This isn't you. Where's my sister gone?" She cries looking deep into my eyes. She looks hurt and her eyes seem lost, looking for something.  She turns away and walks away from me. What is she talking about?

" ughh I haven't missed detentions" I moan as we sort through the many purple workbooks binning the ones that belong to people who've left the school.

" hey it could be worse" Jack says with a smirk.

" oh yeah, how?" I ask sarcastically.

" if I wasn't here"

" oh haha" I say shoving him.  " you know, we should go out tonight" I suggest without looking at him.

" to our special place?" He questions, I look at him and grin. I nod my head and a smile blossoms on his face. I need to tell him and I'm planning on telling him today.
