" what is it?" He sighs, twiddling with his hands nervously. I walk over, how am I going to do this? Should I just say it and run out? I Dont know. I'm so scared, my hands becoming wet with sweat and my knees threatening to give way beneath me. Why am I so nervous? It's only Jack, my only friend in the entire world, one of the people I can trust with anything.
" umm" I start. Well done Elsa. I mentally facepalm myself, I'm so awkward when it comes to this stuff.
" Elsa just spit out what you want to say" he says irritably.
" it's not my fault I'm awkward, you don't have to get so annoyed with me" I mumble, I can't even make eye contact with him now. He stands up and walks over to me.
" you clearly don't understand that I love everything about you, even how awkward you are" he tries to joke, laughing feebly. There's a short pause as he waits for me to reply, but this time Im not going to allow myself to freeze.
" I love everything about you Jack. Your smile, your beautiful icy blue eyes that shine in the moons reflection, the little jokes you crack that always make me laugh even when I'm feeling like crap. I love you Jack" I manage to say, even though my insides feel as if Its going to explode. Fireworks exploding around us, making me feel alive.
" I love you too, Elsa" he interwines his hands with mine, placing his forehead on mine, our noses touching. I look into his eyes. I can feel his warm breath on my lips, making me want to kiss him. I run my hands through his hair, soft like silk.
" can I kiss you?" He whispers gently. A smile blossoms on my face and I chuckle lightly.
" no" he pulls away, his smile now faded. " Jack I'm joking, of course you can" he laughs then crashes his lips to mine. They are soft and warm, sending waves of electricity through my veins. This moment I've been dreaming of for months. Being here with him feels right and almost magical. I love him, I'm never going to let him go.
I whisper into his ear as we pull apart.
" forever"
