They stayed in his apartment and the next day, they both woke up lazily. Just as Minela's eyes opened, Ariven kissed her nose.

"Baby. Did you sleep well?" Ariven asked, Minela nodded and snuggled closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and then suddenly reality crashed again.

"We won't have a baby." Minela whispered,  a tear slipping down her face. Ariven closed his eyes, placing his hand gently on her head.

"It's okay, Minela, we'll find a way-"

"First we lose our baby and now we can't have another baby! Why am I so unlucky! " She cried, wetting Ariven's shirt.

"We'll go through this baby. As long as we're together-" Just then, Ariven's phone rang. Ariven's heartbeat increased upon seeing the caller ID.

Furleah

"Why is she calling again?" Minela asked.

"No idea, Minela. Didn't I tell you about how she was adamant towards me?" Minela recalled Ariven mentioning how they used to fuck before and how she kept trying to get close to Ariven despite him rejecting her advances.

"May I answer the phone instead? " Minela asked. Ariven handed her the phone. She would no longer tolerate this bitch barging her way into her married life. Before Minela could speak, Furleah said.

"Hey baby, are you gonna meet me tomorrow?  I have some good news!" Furleeah screamed in a high pitch voice.

"Oh yeah? What makes you think Ariven would be interested in whatever you need to say?"

"Minela! How are you!" She said excitedly, making Minela annoyed.

"What do you want?" Minela asked sternly.

"Ohhh nothing! Can I talk to Ariven?"

"No." Minela said hanging. Furleeah called again, right after. Minela blocked her number before Ariven could say anything.

"You don't have a problem with that, do you?" She looked at Ariven sternly.

"Of course not, baby, whatever you see fit."

"Good. I don't want you to have anything to do with her."

"Alright. " Ariven said, wondering what bought about the sudden change in her. Before, the fact that they fucked before didn't seem to bother Minela at all and she even wanted to see her about her pregnancy issues despite knowing about their past. However now, she didn't seem as tolerant as before.

"Minela-"

"What?" She asked sternly.

"I hope you're alright baby-"

"I'm okay." Minela's voice was devoid of any emotions. Ariven took both her hands in his and placed a soft kiss on her hands.

"You're not alone in this baby, we'll both go through this together."

"Okay." Minela said, melancholy filled in her voice.

"Let's go on a vacation baby." Ariven suddenly announced.

"What? We can't just go-" Ariven put his hands on her shoulders.

"Stop right there. For one day, Minela, let's forget all our worries and enjoy ourselves. I'll have Dramek take care of business, don't worry."

"But what about Koshi?"

"Koshi must learn to leave on her own now, we can't always look after her. She isn't a child don't worry. In fact, today itself, I'll have her shift to a hotel."
