C26 .2 - Side by Side

Monday – 12th day of the deal

Mag-aapat na araw na akong may lagnat at mag-isa ko lang dito sa condo at pinagday-off ko si manang Flor. Ang nakaka-inis pa nakahiga lang ako sa kama at ang tanging pwede ko lang iluto ay ramen kasi naman yun lang ang stock dito sa condo.

I went to the living room para naman makapanood ng movie at para ma-refresh na din while eatung my lunch but the ramen that I am eating doesn’t satisfy my hunger, hinahanap ko yung lutong bahay ni mama. After eating and drinking of lots of water, I turn off the tv and go back to my room to have same rest.

After 5 hours of sleep…

I woke up and my stomach is grumbling terribly and yet my eyes wants to close. I desperately want to eat a proper food so what I did is send a group message to my friends.

“I’m alone in my condominium and I am sick, please bring some food.”

I waited for their reply until i realize that I fall asleep again.

Nagising ako dahil sa tunog ng cellphone ko.

“Hello?”

 

“Ui, Chaze, iniwan na lang namin sa labas ng condo mo yung food at may importante pa kaming gagawin.” –Hazel

“Okay, I’ll just get it, thank you Hazel”

 

I excitedly get up to my bed but my body is still weak, I walk slowly and I start seeing my surrounding blurry. I can’t stand properly in-front of the door and I feel dizzy.

 

 As I open the door, I saw Jen, she was about to leave.

“Jen? Anong ginagawa mo dito?“ I asked her and I suddenly collapse.

Naramdaman kong sinusubukan akong iakyat ni Jen sa kwarto ko nang-biglang ma-out of balance siya kaya naman I catch her sa abot ng makakaya ko.

I can’t open my eyes to check if she is okay that’s why I ask her: “Are you alright?”

“I’m okay, ikaw ba okay ka lang?”  --Jen

Thank God! At okay siya, hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili ko kapag may nangyari sakanyang masama dahil sa akin.

“Buti naman” I said with a relief and I don’t know what happen next.

Next thing I Know, nakahiga na ako sa couch and Jen was sleeping beside the couch kung saan ako nakahiga habang may hawak na soft towel. I slowly get up and sit para hindi ko siya magising pero wala eh, nagising pa rin siya.
