Heroes' Quarters~ 7:00 PM
"Nana dear, stay quiet please. The telephone's ringing." Miya hushed.
"There's a crisis at the western part of the land. Report with a buddy, you'll be going in duos today."
"Okay, noted." and she placed the telephone down.
"I have treats and milk in the fridge, remember to lock the door and not talk to strangers. Don't be afraid to use your boomerang." she reminded as she kissed Nana's forehead gently.
"Got it!" Nana nodded.
Miya grabbed her trusty bow, and walked out the door. She was about to knock, but the door had opened already.
"Did you receive the message?" she asked.
"Yeah, so? I'm buddying with Zilong, dude." he replied, coldly.
She froze, she didn't expect this kind of rejection. She silently ran to camp, alone.

Dawn Barracks ~ 7:30 PM
Tigreal, the general was commanding the heroes. Every syllable that came out of his mouth, they followed. Miya could see Alucard in the crowd, with Zilong of course.
Her colleague Layla was supportive of her friend though.
"Don't look so down, Mi. I love you!" she beamed excitedly.
"La! That's ridiculous." Miya frowned.
"I trust you and I. We can do it!"
"If you say so... Layla...."
"You're one of the only people important to me."

Miya's thoughts were interrupted by the general's loud command.
"You're not allowed to buddy with a person who is the same as your class. That's impractical. Looking at you, Sir Zilong and Sir Alucard."
"Aw. Oh well, I can pair up with Eudora then. Sorry dude." Zilong said.
"MIIIIII! I'm so sorry... I have to pair up with Fanny." Layla panicked.
"Well, Alucard? Miya? Be buddies! You're here to fight!" Tigreal shouted to the two.
"I know sir. Sorry."
The pair, and many more pairs were dispatched in the forest heading to the West. The healers stood at the back ready with their staffs and tomes (but a roll of TP for estes).
"We're not supposed to go that way!" Miya shouted.
"Then where, smartypants?" he huffed.
"Wait.... I hear something."
