Monday, 7:00 AM

"HARITH!!!"

"H-Huh??? *yawn*"

"Where's your clock? Did you not break it, but magically warp it somewhere?"

"It's under my bed..... I want 5 more minutes to sleep..."

"No way! You have to be the best! For the Empire!"

"Uhhuhh..... f-for... the empire..." he mumbled as he dragged himself out of bed.

After getting changed and eating breakfast like normal, they went to the training center.

The center was almost empty that day, because most of the high ranks were at the West. 

Kaja and Aurora were nowhere to be seen instead, there was a young lady whose face could charm even the most evil of demons.

"Hi miss. Are you a teacher here?" Miya asked curiously.

She replied, "Substitute, actually! I teach mages. I am Princess Odette."

"Princess? Forgive me your highness." she answered as she bowed respectfully.

"No need for the formalities! You and I, we're just the same. Anyway, you are?"

"Miya. This is Nana, my little sister." 

Nana was hiding behind Miya, seeming a little afraid. 

"Why, you're beautiful. No wonder you're sisters, though I do not see the resemblance." Odette giggled.

The cat elf stepped forward.

"You're a mage aren't you? I see a lot of potential in you, my child." she smiled.

"No.. Actually they said I'm a support."

"Oh. There's no support mentors today however.... I guess you will be under my 'wing'."

Miya waved, and headed outside as another kid approached the Princess.

"Hi there ma'am, who's the mentor today?" Harith asked, scratching his head.

"Me, but I'm a substitute. You are... Harith?" she asked looking at a list of names given to her.

"Yes ma'am."

"Uh, we seem to have only one other student today." Odette looked worryingly at the two.

"Who?"

"The cute little girl there."

He turned around to see his friend, who waved back. She came closer to the class.

"Excellent! Let's start by reviewing your skills."

"You both did well today."

"Thank you!" they answered in unison then looked at each other shocked.

"So, where's your parents or caretakers? Are they not here yet?" she asked.

"No..."

"I don't think so."

"O-okay..... If you both know your way home, I'll walk you home."

"Yay!"

"Nana, I can't believe it."

"What?"

"We'll be taking classes together... Alone... I sorta like it."

"Well... Me too... I'm happy actually."

"Hey, do you kids want ice cream?" Odette asks pointing to the ice cream shop.

"I do!"

"Oops!"

"We do!"
