Nana recieved instructions from Odette to pack up. She headed to her room quietly. A hand tapped her shoulder from behind.
"Hey. I'll help you out." Harith smiled.
"Um.. Okay, good to know!" she replied.
The both of them took a seat on the intricate carpet and started packing bags, for they had to leave.
"Nana... What if we survive this?"
". . . . Everything has to come to an end, Harith."
"What do you mean?"
Nana smiled hopelessly and sighed.
"Nothing lasts forever. Even you and me. So we'll make the most of out time."
"......"
"Need a hug?"
"Yeah... I think I was feeling down lately."
"Everything will be alright... As long as we're together."
Nana's pent up stress let itself out, in the form of a pure tear infused with sorrow, but releasing it made her calm somehow.
"There, there. . . Crying is normal."
"How can you say so?"
"I cry a lot too. But I don't want you to see me cry, because I'm supposed to protect you."
"Oh.... It's okay though."
". . . Let's just stay like this for a while, Nana."
".. . . . . ... .. ."
"Thank you."
