Memories

Memories swirl around,
All in my head where times,
Of laughter and joy,
Are now tainted with the hurt and betrayal.

I walk in and it hits me,
All over again all the laughter,
The hugs the kisses,
The I love you,
Every moment of happiness,
That I can no longer have in my future.

It hits me and it hurts,
But there's nothing,
I can do for every time,
We speak it's not the same,
And all our past mistakes,
Come up again.

We try to fix things,
And have something,
Perfect again but we're,
Too scared it will all,
Come crashing in.
