There's a storm brewing inside,
That I've hidden for quite some time.
I've covered it up with lies,
And buried it too deep to see.
I feel it scratching, clawing,
Beneath my skin urging me,
To let it out again.
I breathe in the regret of ever hiding it.
I breathe in a final breath,
Before it takes over.
I stand up and looked in the devil's,
Menacing eyes taking him by surprise.
I've stared down way worse than you,
I say remembering my darkest days.
He cursed himself realizing his mistake.
I raise a stake sealing his fate,
As I defeated my demons and the devil within.
