Drarry One Shots

"Where're you off to, then?"

"I," Ginny paused to pulled her hair out from underneath her bag-strap, "am going to Ravenclaw. Luna tells me that she's found a better way of keeping away nargles" 

"You know those don't exist, right?"

The frown that Ginny had pointed at her, admittedly stubborn, bag-strap quickly switched up to face Hermione and Ron, who were sprawled together on the ground, the chairs in the room having been taken by the Slytherin Trio and Harry. The four people on the couches didn't seem bothered by the current conversation, occupying themselves with Every Flavour Beans.

"Maybe they aren't but.. well I like to watch Luna work on these things," She reached up, probably on instinct, to touch the cork necklace Luna had made for her a couple day prior.

"Is that so," Ron shifts, propping his head up on his palm and giving his best 'innocent' face "Or do you just like Luna?" he wiggles his eyebrows, snorting at the red flush that covered Ginny's face as she spun around and stomped out of the room.

At the sound of the slamming portrait, Harry looked up from the earthworm flavoured bean he had been trying to feed Draco and narrowed his eyes at Ron, still giggling to himself on the floor,

"What'd you say to her Ron? Please tell me she isn't angry, don't you remember what happened last time you made her angry?" He shuddered, Ginny was extremely creative when it struck her fancy

"Oh, nah. I reckon she's more embarrassed than angry this time around,"

"Ronald what did you do?" Pansy leant forward ever so slightly, elbows resting on her knees as something akin to excitement etched into her expression

Ron shifted slightly, turning to face his friends, his height making it difficult to comfortably hold his cross-legged position on the ground. He tipped his head towards the now closed portrait and offered up an innocent smile,

"Really, I didn't do much-"

"He was teasing Ginny about her crush on Luna again." Hermione piped up, her head having dropped back against Pansy's knees somewhere between Ron's awkward shuffling.

"Well, that's one way of putting it..."

After the very brief second of silence Pansy stood up, much to the protests of her girlfriend, delight written into every movement of her body. She walked out to be in front of everyone, earning a quizzical look from both Harry and Ron, an unimpressed glare from Hermione and two very curious raised eyebrows from her fellow Slytherins.

"Do you three," She gestured to Harry, Hermione and Draco, "remember how we, in a way, had our relationships set up for us?" 

The three nodded, and Hermione seemed to catch on to where Pansy was taking this. A slow, mischievous, smile had begun to show itself.

"Wellll, I was thinking we could give Lovegood and Weaslette a little.. how to put this? Push in the right direction?"

Draco, clearly on board with this already - honestly, he's probably picked up some kind of obsession after Hermione and Pansy - smiled up at Pansy,

"And how, do you propose, we do that?"

"Luna! Ginny!" Hermione jogged up to the younger students, wand drawn, "Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if I could test out a new spell I read about? Nothing dangerous I promise, and it should only last for 3 hours,"

While Ginny was eyeing Hermione with suspicion, Luna was already nodding happily, the little bell earrings she had in tinkling along joyously with the movement. 

"Oh absolutely! As long as you don't hurt anything, this should be wonderful,"

Hermione took that as all she needed, knowing that Ginny would reluctantly give in after a minute either way, she went over the spell a couple times in her mind before smiling,

"Alright, I'll need you two to hold hands for this one. Is that ok?"

While Ginny's glare intensified into something almost scary, Luna laced her hand into the red-head's. The blonde held their now joined hands up to Hermione,

"Like this?"

"Yes, exactly like that, now stand very still and I'll cast the spell"

Ginny frowned as Hermione spun her wand in an intricate pattern, brows creased with the concentration she needed for this spell. When she finished, Hermione looked up to find a wide-eyed Ginny and an ever-smiling Luna, hands still joint tightly,

"Sorry, I probably should have explained, this spell is supposed to be a form of legilimency spell," The brunette turned on her quoting voice, "'While being casted, the two participants must have physical contact with each other, but after the spell has been casted, within a certain range, the participants will be able to share thoughts with one another up to a variable time, chosen by the caster.' I chose for this to last for about 3 hours"

At this point Ginny was blushing furiously while trying to maintain her glare, while Luna had released her hand and clapped lightly,

"Hermione what a wonderful spell! You must show me where you find these one day," To be honest, the way Luna lit up at these simple things was adorable. Hermione could see why Ginny liked her so much.

Speaking of,

"Keep your thoughts in check Miss Weasley, I'll be off now! Have a good day you two!" With that, Hermione walked off. Straight around a corner to her girlfriend, who tugged her into a bear hug,

"Hermione, you Gryffindork genius, I love you."

"If you wanted that, you could have just asked," Luna paused in making some floral bouquet of rosemary and dandelions. She looked over at Ginny, who looked more embarrassed than she'd been when she'd accidentally thought about how gorgeous Luna was when she was concentrating.

"I'm so sorry Luna-"

"Why are you apologising? I really wouldn't mind it, I have thought about it before you know?"

"It's just- wait, really?"

Luna nodded, standing up and moving to sit next to Ginny, smiling ever so gently at her friend

Goodness, she's stunning

"Oh, thank you Ginny, you're quite beautiful yourself."

"I- uh.. thanks.." The response came out as more of a sheepish mumble, but it was there. Ginny shifted, turning to face Luna, eyes intent on her face, scanning over every detail before the thought 'fuck it' went through her mind and she leant forward to kiss her.. well, now, maybe more than a friend?

I gotta say, I do enjoy some good ol' Linny. Also- I really need to get some proper Drarry into these 'Drarry one-shots' don't I?
