It took Jake and Caitlin just under an hour to view all of the lab and talk to some of the workers. Caitlin was so thankful that she was shown around by such a nice man, but their was only one thought in her mind. I miss Barry's green eyes staring back at mine, and his adorable sense of humour, and his cute laugh. But Caitlin had to admit Jake was fit. They arrived back at Caitlin's office. She sat down at her desk and Jake stood on the other side of the desk. "Thank you for the tour, it was great to see all of the lab" Caitlin smiled at him. "Well I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was my pleasure to show you around" he smiled at her. He walked around to the side of her desk. "It was good to get to know you as well Dr Snow" he smiled. "Well thank you again" she smiled, stood up and gave him a warm hug. "It was my pleasure" he said hugging her tightly.
1 month later Caitlin was working away at her computer when there was a knock at the door. "Come in" she called finishing her typed sentence. "Hey Cait" Jake smiled at her as she entered the office. "Hey you ok?" She smiled at him. "Yeah I was just wondering if we could go over some reports later?" He asked. "Yeah sure I have some free time tonight" she smiled again. "Good maybe we could also have some dinner?" He asked "Sure" she smiled "Great well I'll see you later then" Jake smiled as he left her office. His plan was coming together nicely he thought as he returned back to his work.
A few hours later Caitlin was working away at her desk when someone knocked on her office door. "Come in" she called "Hey it's me" Jake said as he walked into her office casually and sat down in one of the chairs opposite her desk. "Hey" she smiled at him "So what time shall I pick you up?" He asked. "Let's say...7:30?" She said checking her watch. "Ok well I'll see you then" he smiled leaving her office "Bye" she called as he left. Caitlin was happy with her work but she missed Natalie and Barry, but more importantly she hated living with her parents, it was like she was a teen again. No freedom. And no peace from them. She was finishing putting her make-up on when the door bell rang. "Mom can you get that please" Caitlin shouted to her mother. "Who is is sweetie" she called back but received no answer so she answered the door anyway. She answered the door to reveal a smiling Jake. "Hello their Mrs Snow" he smiled at her. "Well hello Jake I didn't know Caitlin was going on a date with you" she said allowing him to enter the house. "It's not a date, were discussing work over dinner" he smiled. "Well to be honest with you I would prefer her to date you and not that other boy" she told Jake quietly. "Mom do you really have to slag off Barry every chance you get?" Caitlin said as she decended the staircase looking like a Disney princess. "Well you know how I feel about him sweetie" she replied leaving the pair alone and heading for the sitting room. "Wow you look amazing" Jake smiled at her. "Thank you, you don't look so bad yourself" she smiled. "Well let's go" he said as he opened the door for her. "Thank you" she said as she stepped out into the cold of the night.
At the restaurant When they arrived they had hardly talked about anything other than Barry being a goofball. "Wow that really happened" Jake said laughing. "Yep, I was so embarrassed when Joe caught us but then my parents walked in oh my god I was mad" she laughed. "Wow, hey can I ask you a question?" He asked "Sure" "Where is Barry now I mean if I had a beautiful girlfriend like you I wouldn't ever leave her" "Well we fought and my parents asked for help out here so I jumped at the opportunity without a second thought" she explained to him. "Do you not regret your fight?" "Everyday but I just can't forgive him for this" she said sadly. "Wow I'm sorry I just made this very depressing" "It's fine"she said her smile returning.
A few bottles of wine and two hours later "I think it's time we should be leaving" Jake said "Yep I agree" she smiled. They walked out of the restaurant and Jake drove Caitlin home and walked her to her front door. "Well thanks for tonight" she smiled again, she lent in to kiss him on his cheek when he turned his head causing their lips to meet hers. At first she was confused but then she wanted it to happen. The kiss became passionate. Caitlin quickly unlocked the door and they both entered the house quickly. Caitlin kicked off her shoes whilst undoing his tie then throwing it too the floor. He pulled off Caitlin's jacket and tossed it somewhere. She reached for the laples of his blazer and pulls at them removing his jacket from his arms. She tossed it as they began walking up the stairs not breaking their kiss. They lent against Caitlin's door, she pulled his shirt open sending buttons flying everywhere before it too landed on the floor. He ran his hand along her thigh making her moan. She twisted the handle to her door and they walked in, Caitlin closing the door with her foot. They both moaned as they hit the bed. Caitlin climbed on top and lifted her dress over her head. He marveled at her amazing body wanting to kiss every part of her. Caitlin undid his trousers and tossed them along with his boxers and her underwear. Caitlin moaned his name as he pounded inside of her. They came together both collapsing onto the bed. This was what she needed. And what he planned.
